“My wife and I heard about the wonderful and amazing food, service and atmosphere while living in Arkansas. Knowing we were going through Salt Lake on vacation we just had to stop and taste for ourselves. Wow, is an understatement. Everything from the wonderful salad, the most amazing Brussels sprouts on earth to an even better New Zealand Elk steak and our server Sara was an amazing experience I wish everyone could partake. “Bar à Vin is a hidden gem in Salt Lake City and a must-visit every time I’m in town. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and super approachable.

The food is amazing—don’t miss the fig and mole pizza (it’s a must-order). The tri-color carrots appetizer was also a standout.

Loved the creative mocktails too—they made the experience feel just as special without alcohol.

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“
