“The food is really good! I have absolutely no complaints about the food and it’s a really great price for what you get!

However, I was disappointed with the expectations of what we expected to transpire at our event. There was a miscommunication. We hired RJ for a wedding event. I specifically asked about having wait staff for the event. I was told that they provided that service. Prior to the event and while finalizing we spoke about buffet style. I said yes that I want them to be able to walk through with their own plates to get what they’d like instead of things they hate. Unbeknownst to me, that meant no one there assisting with the actual buffet. We opened the doors expecting people to assist and there was covered rows of food in tin foil and no assistance. It was super disappointing to have the crazy shuffle last minute to get it all open and ready to serve then assist everyone with their plates to the point I missed most of the dinner with my own daughter who was the bride. The miscommunication could’ve been on either end but hopefully my review will help so that can be more clear in the future for others if they choose to cater. Either way, I would totally recommend them. Ryan, the owner, contacted me about the issues we’d had once I emailed him and was very quick to apologize for the confusion. Working with great people who are accountable is the most important thing to me so great job RJ BBQ!“
