“We love this place! The food is awesome! They have spectacular tacos and the carne asada is to die for. Their red taco sauce is incredibly flavorful and packs a nice, spicy punch! The family that runs the place works hard as well and makes sure you are completely satisfied. Definitely a fun and delicious place to eat!“
“I booked, “Up North Gelati” for my wedding. My guests are still talking about how delicious it was and how friendly their staff is.When I booked it, the owners were so wonderful in their communications and so accommodating. They went over my needs and a few concerns I had with great care. They were a big hit at my venue and also my venues owners informed me how impressed they were by their professionalism to serve my guests and how amazing at their clean up and how they conducted business with them (the venue) as well. Like, where to park, and some guidelines to follow. The flavors that paired with the gelato were very tasty. Also, as the bride, I asked if I could order a root beer flavor because it’s my favorite and they were more than happy to accommodate this. It was so good.I would recommend them to everyone who is having a celebration and would want a food truck present. It was a very delicious treat and especially in the summer. All of my little young guests claim this was their favorite part of my wedding along with everyone else escaping the heat. (Mid-summer July wedding). Pricing was fantastic! Extremely affordable. We were 1000% satisfied and can’t wait to book them again at another function. I rate them:5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“
“Wow! Everything is delicious. We loved the Maduros, all the rice and bean options and the roasted chicken. The mofongo with chicharron was really flavorful and the chinola con avena (passion fruit drink made milky with oats - think horchata with oats not rice) was delicious. The fried yuca was perfect! So happy to have this Dominican/ Puerto Rican eatery in Provo! We’ll be frequent visitors!“
“Hidden gem! This place was SO good! Prices were reasonable. It was $5 for a little cookie sandwich and $6 for a large. I got a large Cookie Monster (vanilla with chips ahoy 10/10) with double fudge cookies. And let me tell you, this was a LOT. Way too much for just myself but a perfect amount to split it with someone. Everything tasted amazing. The place was pretty small and there were only about 6 tables. It got really busy at night so it filled up and got so loud. I couldn't hear anyone at my table due to the loud music and crowded place but it didn't affect how much I LOVED what I got. I am totally going here again.“
“me and my family were all eating at this restaurant and they were out of cookie butter. so we had to get something else after we sat down and started eat he came over to use and said we just got cookie butter and he make us a donut with cookie butter in it. he said it was on the house and not to worry about it.“
“This is a great cup Bop! Quick service like literally ordered our food annd got it in 45 seconds and close to BYU campus! Parking is kinda tricky, so you just need to watch out for the cars on the road. Other than that FABULOUS FOODKid-friendliness: Great and safe!“
“Tacos different from all the others, original creations, different flavor, with caramelized onions, jalapenos with melted cheese and a complimentary toasted tortilla is a plus. We were very pleased with the price, the portions and especially the flavor. The quesabirrias are delicious because the birria has the authentic flavor of birria from Jalisco.“
“Had the pleasure of trying this burger spot today and I gotta say… these are the best burgers and fries I’ve ever had in my almost 40 years on this earth. Garret is a true gentleman and incredible artist when it comes to his craft! The burger was out of this world and the fries, surprisingly, were JUST as good! Which, I never expect! This is going to be a hotspot for me as I try to spread the word as much as I can about Burger Pioneers! I urge you to make your way here ASAP so you can get in on Utahs best kept secret!Parking: Nice, wide open location!Kid-friendliness: Garret is one of the kindest men I’ve met in a long time! He walked me to my car and opened up the door for us!“
“I found this driving by tonight and tried both porks and barrio tacos, gringa style. They were delicious and loaded with cilantro and onions, overall huge portions with loaded meat on the tacos. Plenty of radishes and the 3 sauces are so good that you help yourself too. I arrived later and the limes were nearly out but I gave her the vessel to refill. They had tons of drink choices and chips and the menu was enough for all to be happy with. The ladies were kind and gracious! I will be back. I honestly love when ones are kind and the food matches“

“Perfect tacos and great service! I keep coming back and ordering more and more. I'll be back again and again. Give these tacos a try and support someone local. This truck deserves to be on top. By a MILE the best tacos in Utah county if you ask me.✌️“
“I love the people here! They are always so friendly and kind. The food is delicious and ample cilantro and onion always. They always throw in an extra gringa taco for me :) I love that! Maybe cos they see me weekly! Just go, you will not be disappointed with tacos or tortas or the service!“
“Delicious Mexican restaurant that many pass by. Was a little cold in the restaurant but the food by far made up for it. The food looks stunning and is very delicious. We ordered 2 tacos one de carnitas and the other de pastor along with one torta de lengua, food was one of the best I’ve had. They have a high variety salsa bar and the salsas there are truly spicy. Fast service and welcoming atmosphere loved coming here and will come again.“
“We were there this weekend and the pozole was very delicious, the grain feels like natural corn cooked at home, not from a can.The birria and the golden birria tacos were also very delicious, you also feel a homemade flavor. To drink we tried horchata water and for people who don't drink very sweet drinks it was too sweet. The service was very fast and friendly.“
“(Translated by Google) I loved the food. Everything I could try was very tasty. It seemed to me that they didn't take long at all, and the food tasted fresh. Also, the service was excellent, very friendly.(Original)Me encantó la comida. Todo lo que pude probar, estuvo muy rico. Me pareció que no se tardaron para nada, y la comida se sentía fresca. Además, el servicio fue excelente, muy amables.“
“My wife had me drive all the way to Orem (from Sandy) in December just before Christmas just to visit Yoyo's Taco Truck. Well, OK...so we DID do some Christmas Shopping at University Place Mall afterward - and ate our tacos there in the mall's food court - but for us, the highlight of our Christmas Holiday trip was YoYo's Tacos! My wife had heard of this taco truck on Facebook and since it had rave reviews we just HAD to make the trip to the Smith's parking lot there off of 350 N Freedom Blvd. and found the Yoyo's truck! I ordered three street tacos ($2.80 EA) with the Birria marinated beef...which was de-lish! But I should have ordered the much larger burrito with the Birria for $14.00 My wife enjoyed her street tacos and we realized that we were still hungry after finishing only a few each. But hey, live and learn, right? With that said, the cost of dinner exceeded the value, we think. YMMV. Next trip we're going when it is much warmer (they had a nice LPG warmer outside for the customers,) and get larger orders for each of us. I found out that I love Birria...but never heard of it before. The Birria was definitely the go-to meat for these tacos, burritos, and their other specials. May have to order "Danny's Special" next time...a plate of Birria with rice, beans, four corn tortillas, and Au Jus (what YoYo's refers to as "Consome") for dipping...all for $15. Four Stars for some flavorful Michoacan cuisine but it came at a high price (doesn't everything these days?) that didn't leave us feeling like we fully got our money's worth.“
