The Greenery at Rainbow Gardens has a little bit of an old-school feel that I actually liked. We stopped in while going through Ogden Canyon, and the setting makes it feel different from a typical restaurant. There are large windows, lots of greenery inside, and the canyon is right outside. You can hear the water from the river nearby if you're outside, and there's a relaxed, slightly dated charm to the place that seems intentional at this point. Cute restaurant with a unique menu which included Mormon Muffins to replicate the muffins the early Mormons made as they settled in Salt Lake City. Other unique menu items were based on local tastes. This area was a resort that began in the late 1800s.
The restaurant and gift shops were located at the trailhead for some hikes and the Ogden River Pathway. Fun spot!
