The Navajo taco was sooo good (green chili pulled pork - isn’t crunchy for takeout but that was expected) and the goat cheese queso - more like a cheesy salsa but also very good”

“We ate the most creative and divine food last night at Communal. The portions are big and they are for sharing. The new summer salad with fresh peaches and corn was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The blend of flavors was absolutely amazing. Had I known how delicious it was beforehand I would have just ordered that for dinner. My husband and I shared the Greek chicken, crispy fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots with pistachios. Wonderful homemade rolls were served while we awaited our dinner. Everything is freshly cooked so plan to enjoy a wonderful, scrumptious and leisurely dinner. Wish we had time to go back and try some other dishes. Everything was presented beautifully and the service was excellent. A divine dining experience!”

“Really great spot. We came in on a Thursday and it was pretty dead though. Food was great and the service was really fast and friendly. We believe our waiters name was Brandon or Braden and he did a great job. They seemed understaffed and unfortunately didn’t have anybody who could service drinks or cocktails, I imagine for legal reason, which was a bit of a bummer because we probably would have spent double what we actually did. It is pretty expensive, but the quality and quantity and overall experience is worth it for special occasions.”

“2nd time here, literally one of the best restaurants. Have been all over the country and a few international trips in the past 13 months and La Jolla Gove in Provo is literally do not miss. Bruschetta, tomato basil soup, seasonal salad are to die for. Entrees are consistent and the atmosphere is adorable. Wish it wasn’t a 4 hour drive Moriah was our server tonight and was on-point. I went inside for snacks and the people were friendly and helpful. The manager was the BEST! I asked if I could use the parking lot to rest and he reminded me of no liability but suggested a place out of the way. Extremely helpful, friendly and the gas prices were the best! “Wow, are we glad we found this restaurant! In Provo for a convention and always on the lookout for good Thai food and we found that and more. I had the Massaman chicken and my husband had the cashew chicken with spring rolls for an appetizer. The food was absolutely delicious, quick and abundant. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was inviting and cozy. Never mind the prices, so reasonable for the amount of food we had! Very clean all around too. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will return when in Provo again.”

“Being at Aji Peru is just like eating in a savory, tasty, and authentic Peruvian restaurant. It’s literally like eating at home. Flavor, smell, texture and even portion size are presented in the Peruvian way. The owner, señora Magaly is warm and makes you feel you’re in home.
They have good amount of variety of dishes. My daughter wanted to eat tallarines verdes for her birthday and they were tasty and rich in flavor. We also got Aji de gallina and Lomo Saltado, both of those dishes with such a huge quality. The Chicha Morada was recently made, and the smell was a legit purple corn, it also had pieces of pineapple. Lovely!
We totally recommend this restaurant and we will be back again.”

“Our favorite Thai restaurant in Provo!! The crab Rangoons are the best ones I’ve had and the green curry is absolutely to die for!! I’ve had better pad Thai, but it was still yummy. They also have chicken, stir-fry dishes that are delicious (we love the cashew chicken one). The owners are also so sweet, and you get a yummy guava candy after that I always look forward to haha

“I did an online order and I was very happy with the service and quality of food. My pizza was delicious! I also got the honey butter cinnamon pizza and it was really hard to eat. Ever heard of the cinnamon challenge? Instead of sprinkling cinnamon on, it was literally dumped on the pizza. I was able to tap some of the cinnamon off, but each bite was still full of cinnamon. Simple fix.”

“What a delicious Café! The food was very authentic and his run by a great Taiwanese family that makes it taste just like Taiwan! Favorites included the heavenly mango drink, popcorn chicken, tonkatsu and curry ramens were all so good! As were the pot stickers and Bento boxes. They also have Tianbula (listed as Taiwanese Tempura) and also fried squid! 😋 Zach, the guy that served us was such a kind guy and they gave excellent and very friendly service! The café is located right behind the CVS- right west of BYU campus.”

“The best Korean restaurant I’ve been to! I travel 40 minutes each way just to eat here. My favorite dish is the Crispy Chicken Tteokbokki. So flavorful and filling and the crispiness and juiciness of the chicken is amazing. I also always get the crispy chicken bites with the angry red or the sweet red sauce both are delicious!! I can’t wait to go back. Hoping they expand their locations towards salt lake county :)”

“Saigon Café in Provo is one of our absolute favorite spots. This family-owned gem has become a go-to for me and John—the food is consistently hot, fresh, and authentic. The staff is incredibly friendly and often interacts with us like we’re part of the family, which makes the experience even better.

We’ve even placed takeout orders right at closing, and they’ve still graciously taken care of us, which we’ve really appreciated! Our go-to dishes are the lemon chicken and the yellow curry—both are packed with flavor and always satisfying. Highly recommend supporting this local spot!”

We all agreed that they were the best wings we have ever had. I recommend them plain as the skin was perfect. Our group tried 10 pizzas and stuffed ourselves and we skill couldn’t stop eating the cinnamon bites. Our favorite pizzas were the margarita and the backyard barbecue.”

I recommend Two Jack's Pizza to everyone I talk to. I eat there far more often than I should. I have never had to wait long for an order. I used to joke when COVID began that if push came to shove I would singlehandedly keep Two Jack's in business. There is truth in all jest. Two Jack's is a wonderful establishment. Just writing about it brings me joy.”

“We’ve had a good experience here before, but this time wasn’t good. My wife’s bar had a hair in it and was also freezer burnt, so that was a big bummer. We paid with cash, and when we asked the lady how much cash back we got, she said “I don’t know”, which was strange considering she has JUST handed us back our money she counted. We counted how much cash back we got afterwards and she gave us more than she should have, which was nice, but kind of unprofessional. Not complaining though. We had a good laugh in the car afterwards about the “i dont know” response 😂”

“After about 10 visits, K's finally fell short for me. 90% is still an 'A', I guess. **I won't count the time I ordered an xl poke, but got the regular size.** I placed an online order about 40 minutes in advanced (because that was the soonest the system would allow). Everything seemed to be going to well, but after 40 minutes of waiting I show up and they say their systems are acting funny and they didn't get the order in. So after 40 minutes of waiting, no call, no text, no communication. I show up and the order hadn't even been prepared yet. So the young man puts the order in finally and I expect maybe another 10-15 minute wait, but no 30 minutes later (after already waiting 40 minutes) the order is finally ready. I couldn't believe after having such incredible service that this would happen. It's unfortunate, the owners are really nice people.”

I went up to ask the cashier if they had guest WiFi. He said he didn’t know and asked what he could get me. I explained the mobile app promo and he confirmed I would need to order it through the app then.
I showed him my phone and how the screen was froze because of crappy cell signal and stated I wanted to simply place an order but I am unable to get the screen to load from bad reception.

“Pretty good food for decent prices, especially when the only close options are gas stations. Much better food and Han that. It’s a hospital cafeteria. They have a surprising selection to choose from. Really good when you’re in a difficult hospital situation. The only thing that was difficult for me was that my daughter’s room was almost on the opposite end of the complex. Quite a far walk/wheel for a disabled person.

Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible (it is a hospital after all), but it’s far from the main recovery rooms in Pederson tower.”

“Co-Located with Guru's Cafe in Provo, it shares some of the same aesthetics. I "checked in" on YELP at Guru's when we had dinner there and was "rewarded" with a coupon for a "free cookie" from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I don't accept gifts or discounts from places I review unless it is a printed coupon anyone can use and this offer seemed close enough to that standard to give it a try. Also, living hundreds of miles away there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. Generally, my view is if I wouldn't buy something, getting it for free with a coupon is "no great deal." It was a busy day for the hard working crew at Enlighten and Guru's and it was also within an hour of their closing. After enjoying a very good dinner I went to the bakery counter to find out what my coupon could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie left which had a corner broken off, some sugar cookies, and some gluten-free cookies, one each of chocolate chip, the other was Snickerdoodle. Of all of these the broken peanut butter cookie was the most appealing to me and sugar cookies the least. I also thought to myself I'll take "the damaged one" so they can sell the others. The nice lady grabbed it with tongs and just add she tried to put it in a bag with them the cookie fell to the floor. She was mortified. She asked if I wanted a suggest cookie instead and I explained that would not go over well with my wife who would be sharing it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies, which I accepted. The grace she handled this with is more noteworthy than the cookies. They were good, even two days later when we enjoyed them with decaf enhanced with a little Irish Cream back at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato Cheesecake which really intrigued me but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru's and our would not have kept well during our drive back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still a at the bakery, I "checked in" on YELP and... got another coupon for a "free cookie". The next time were there I'm not going to use it. Instead, I'm going to leave room for desert and try a slice of that Sweet Potato (or some other) cheesecake. 😁 Bon Appétit 😀”

“My wife and I finally stopped by Tamale Market in Provo, after hearing great things about their tamales. We were met at the door by a wonderful guy who introduced us to their amazing homemade tamales. We ended up ordering a half dozen after trying their Red Chile Beef, which was absolutely delicious. Very sweet corn tamales but they are fantastic. I’d love to see if the people giving out one star reviews have traveled outside Utah… If someone finds a better tamale in Utah let me know!”

I called and they were so gracious and kind to remake my order correctly. They were very professional. The second time a reward on my app was not working and I went in to ask about it. The women who helped was so kind to me about it. She got her manager to help further and the man that helped was so professional and calm about the situation. I was impressed by the customer service.
