“The food was beautiful and absolutely delicious! It was clean and quiet, they were very friendly, we didnt have to wait long, and the prices were fair. It's such a cute store and a great place for a date! We'll definitely be going back!“
“The ramen and the boba tea drinks were delicious. And ramen was just the right amount of spicy. They have a screen you go up to order and pay at but there was gentleman right next to it to help with any questions you had. Great service and food!“
“So this location had us questioning our life choices that day. But looks can be deceiving. I got the Las Vegas roll and this thing was the size of a huge zucchini. I was only able to eat half. But that thing was falling out both ends. Me and my colleagues had a lot of “that’s what he said” and “that’s what she said” jokes for a while. It was soooooooo filling. My two male colleagues ate theirs I could only eat half but that’s because I’m going on vacation in a couple weeks. Gotta have that summer body in spring. If not I would have continued to gorge my face in absolute sushi heaven.“
“My husband and I visited this weekend while we were down in Provo. This was our first time visiting. We really enjoyed to food we ordered, but the service was rushed and it was a long wait.We ordered the Calamari as an appetizer. The Calamari was alright, and we ordered 5 sushi rolls. All which were delicious! We ordered the Rock Shrimp, BSCR, Big Sumo, and the Baked Lobster roll. My husband’s favorite was the Rock Shrimp and mine was the BSCR. We look forward to trying it again soon!“
“The food here is AMAZING with authentic flavors! The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and right on top of filling waters and soda. We didn't have to wait very long for our food at all. The whole atmosphere of this restaurant is very pretty and elegant. I will be recommending it to everyone I know!“
“The best sushi in Utah county. I'm normally not a fan of tuna and salmon rolls but I really love the ones here. They don't have that strong fishy taste and the roll just melts in your mouth. There are a few things you should note:they only have sushi during their night hours and after 8pm there is limited space reserved for first come/first serve. Even with a reservation there is still a 30-40 minute wait. They do take a while to get your order but I guess it's worth the wait since the sushi is really good but keep that in mind if you go expecting a quick service. The staff is always friendly but it does get pretty loud since the place is always packed so don't expect a quiet atmosphere. I just wish they had sushi all day then I'd give this place 5 stars.“
“Very pleasant experience! The menu was a tad bit confusing but I got the GYU DON (rice bowl with steak, a poached egg and I added veggies). It was AMAZING! I was seated right away at the bar. The servers were very polite. My server went and asked the cook about the modifications I wanted to do to my order which was great (most places just say no but doesn’t hurt to ask).Again the meal was SOOOO yummy.Thank you for the great experience!Dietary restrictions: You can ask the server for recommendations. They were very polite. Some things did cost more with modifications but it was not anything crazy.Wheelchair accessibility: They have tables as well as a large bar section.“
“My favorite restaurant in Utah county, and the best sushi I've had in the area. Very kind attentive staff, peaceful atmosphere, and amazing food. Definitely a guilty pleasure of mine to go here. The Honolulu roll is absolutely incredible.“
“We normally get sushi up to go, quite frankly because the atmosphere is very dark inside.Their online ordering system Seems a little ridiculous, they charge you for ordering online, but they will not let you order over the phone. I would tip more if there wasn't an online order fee. the sushi itself is pretty good. There are times that it is made way better than other times. So consistency is down. They've also messed up our orders a few times substituting our Vegas with a vegetarian“
“This is the best sushi restaurant in Utah County hands down! The chef came to our table and explained where all the fish came from, I was amazed the care and pride that he had for the food he prepared. I would highly recommend the A5 Wagu Nagri AMAZING!!!“
“Really tasty sushi, served in novel and creative ways. I felt like the portions were on the small side compared to other sushi restaurants in the area but every bite was delicious. Service was fantastic - food came out in 10ish minutes and our server was always available. Would come here again.“
“Very delicious acevichado sushi with spicy sauce and wonton with honey hibiscus... The other dishes are good quantity. We had a great time, there were 5 of us! Very good atmosphere! And the lady at the cashier serves well and gave me spicy sauce for an extra flavor! I want to come back!!“
“This is one of the best Japanese restaurants that my fiancé and I love to go to often! The food is always awesome! The atmosphere and decor are so cool. We almost always have great service! My fiance loves the oasam bulgogi. Which has squid, napa cabbage, pork belly, and a few other veggies. It's very spicy! But he loves it! I always go for some of the fried sushi rolls, and the gyoza is the best that I have ever had. ?“
“This is the first Japanese Grill I've been to. I've got a friend who works here and recommended it to me. The layout is a split floor which is pretty cool. The booth I sat at was a little short on legroom, but it's not too bad. They've got an unlimited refill on drinks (non-alcoholic) which is pretty cool. It's got a great variety of seasoned meats and a ton of delicious sides too. I love the potatoe salad and edamame! I also liked the curry they had - it went well with the white rice they brought me.As for the meats, my favorite might have to be the Japanese short ribs - well seasoned and pairs well with the sauces at every table. My server was really nice too!For dessert, the mochi ice cream is a pretty refreshing, especially after all that grilled meat.Dietary restrictions: Their dishes are labeled with Gluten Free (GF) and Dairy Free (DF). For other allergies, you may want to ask.Parking: Plenty of parking in the shared parking lots with other businesses.“
“Friendly and prompt service, not to mention the fact that this is absolutely the most delectable sushi in all of UTAH. What a hidden gem. It’s better than Tsunami, it’s better than Sapa, there is nothing that compares to this place when it comes to Sushi and over all service.“
“Over-all, I'd say 9 out of 10, maybe 9.5.The service is very fast and open to specific modifications/questions, which is refreshing to see.The quality of the sushi is also pretty good, especially considering the affordable pricing. From my experience, it seems that the people there are always genuine and nice to any and all customers, really nice environment. My only suggestion would be to either have more area for customers around grab and go section, since sometimes someone in front of me will take their time, and I can't see the available options until their done. Still excellent service though.Overall, very happy about my experience there, I highly recommend it.“
“First time eating here. Got our order to go. We tried pork lo mein, chicken chow mein, sweet & sour chicken, and shrimp fried rice. Order was ready at the time given and the staff that greeted us was very friendly. Food was the best Chinese we’ve had in the area. Very pleased and will be going back. Out of the 4 dishes the chicken chow mein was our favorite. Least favorite was the sweet & sour chicken, but that was just because the sweet & sour sauce wasn’t quite to our liking. Not bad at all, just not our favorite. The chicken part was very good though.“
“This was the best dining experience I've had in a long time. We were sat immediately, drink orders were blindingly quick, the dinner entertainment was top notch, the food tasted incredible (especially the sushi and steak) and the staff was attentive, friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Worth every penny!“
“My favorite local sushi bar! I highly recommend the Sundance Roll and Geisha Roll.Parking: There are only a dozen or so parking spots in front of Asahi. This usually isn't an issue unless it's peak hours on a weekend, or it's valentine's day. Parking on the street or in front of nearby businesses is available and free if needed.Wheelchair accessibility: Limited handicap parking in front, ramp to sidewalk in front of restaurant, no stairs in restaurant“
“I love the beef and chicken teriyaki on noodles the best! So good, big portions. I have been to so many Asian restaurants around the valley if not all. Only place that has the delicious taste and style I have been looking for. I will be back!“
“For all you can eat sushi, this place is simply the best. Our favorite was the lady in red roll, but really everything was very good. Fresh and the flavors were great!Dietary restrictions: They worked with our shellfish and avocado allergies- we had no problems at all!“
“Unique quaint place with delicious options. We stopped in before a concert to give this place a try after hearing about it from a friend. Delicious sauces, appealing presentation of the food, and very comforting and tasty meal. I want to go back and sample other varieties. Be ready for the owner to greet you with Japanese, it's a bit of a shock but fun as he greets you and sends the order to the kitchen in Japanese.“
