my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try...read full review
they will steal your money they will add a tip without telling you and act like it's the normal total 20 30%, nothing's above them if you know this don't pay all the police
Fantastic food, great service.
Luckily I understand the business plan behind 'all you can eat', so I paced myself and thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
I was however a bit disappointed that I couldn't be there for Mr Shabu's altercation with I can only assume an overly entitled Yelper.
Perhaps next time.

Based on the reviews, Mr. Shabu Orem | Hot Pot • Sushi is a great place for a meal. The restaurant offers a Late Night Sushi special with really good sushi, including popular warm sushi and a roll called the 911. For this special, guests should go in person at 5pm to reserve a table for 8pm to get the $6.77 a roll deal, but note that the restaurant does not give togo boxes for this special. The lunch is also fantastic with a veggie bar that has a wide selection of noodles, veggies, seafood, and sauces. The spicy broth is flavorful and not overly spicy. The appetizers come out super fast. The service is always incredible, with sushi coming quick and servers being kind, attentive, and friendly. The tables and booth seats are very clean and tidy. The bathrooms are fairly clean and handicapped accessible. This location has cheaper prices than most other hot pots and can accommodate individuals to moderately sized groups. The buffet offerings are fresh and presented well, allowing for endless possibilities in flavor and texture.
