“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.“

“The restaurant exudes an amazing vibe, serves delicious food, and provides excellent service. We ordered the sizzling beef pepper, which was incredibly flavorful, and the gyoza and cream cheese wontons were equally impressive. The juice was refreshing and the food portions were generous. Additionally, they offer table games to keep you entertained while waiting for your meal.“

“Stumbled upon this gem on our way to The Ruth last night. The service was great and our food was incredible! It was so fresh and piping hot. The gyoza were crispy perfection and I loved my sweet and sour chicken bowl. I live over an hour away and I will happily be making the drive just to eat here again!“

“Yesterday June 28 was my birthday "55". My first time visiting this restaurant. I went with 3 of my grannies princess. OMG...Mery young female was my host,my checker help me go back and forth explaining the menu "she had patience" with so great enthusiastic. Very friendly. Then there was a young male named Henry ..he also assist and help with my menu selection,very friendly. I mentioned to Mery that it was my birthday, Which I pick this place to treat myself for the whole family. While waiting for my take out order my grannies were by this big and beautiful fishtank and of course, asking for change .25 for these other toy machines. When grabbing order to go..Mery called me...surprised me with this sweet single 3 leches slice cake ,a candle and a sticky note. "Feliz Cumple" I cried,who would of expect this. She ask me for a hug,and ask her for a Selfie. Til my car she assisted me. And then Henry steped.out front door... "Very Welcome,huge smile" FOOD WAS DELICIOUS I highly recommend this place. And for sure will be back.“

“Phenomenal Pho! The broth was killer and the meat cooked to perfection. I had the #4 medium steak/brisket. The veggies were plentiful and flavorful when added to the broth. I also had the spring rolls. They were not good to spite being huge. It was a bunch of lettuce wrapped around vermicelli with like deli chicken meat and shrimp scattered around the outside. No flavor, no freshness, and I have had so much better at other restaurants nearby.“

“Best Teriyaki in Provo! Fresh, Flavorful, and Worth Every Bite- my teenage girls wanted Chinese/ Asian Japanese food and they devoured every bite. It was so good!
If you're craving authentic teriyaki, this is the spot. We ordered the chicken, beef, and shrimp combo with rice and noodles, and every single protein was cooked perfectly, juicy chicken, tender beef, and shrimp that was clearly fresh, not frozen and reheated. The teriyaki sauce had that perfect balance of sweet and savory without being overly sugary like a lot of places.
The rice was fluffy, the noodles were seasoned just right, and you could tell everything was made fresh to order, not sitting under a heat lamp. Portions were generous for the price, and the flavor was consistent across all three proteins, not always the case when you order a combo plate.
This has become our go-to teriyaki restaurant. Clean space, friendly service, and food that actually tastes homemade. Highly recommend if you're looking for the best teriyaki near South provo we'll definitely be back!“
