“Came to the Salty Lake for business and ended up staying in Ogden. And as I was searching for Chinese food to eat this spot popped up on my radar so I knew I had to pay a visit. Little did I know I would eventually pay them a few visits as I was staying in town.
There’s certain Chinese spots that’s serve decent mediocre food but nothing to rant and rave about. But if you ask my opinion, I would highly recommend this spot a thousand times over for whoever the chef/chefs are just perfectly execute every dish that comes to the table.
There’s the great that separates from the good. But far and few boggle me as to how I can figure out how great got better.
Their service is impeccable. Very welcoming and friendly. Even with a full house they still manage to efficiently assist every table without having me shy away from asking for some chopsticks when they have their hands full.
The atmosphere feels nostalgic almost like an 80s diner. And I hope they keep it that way without any major remodels. It gives it its character.
Overall, I had an amazing food experience here. I would absolutely recommend. I think what I miss most are the fried salt & pepper shrimp with the head on. Although I was traveling thru town, I would definitely come back l if I were in town again. And if by any chance I were you and live in Ogden, this would most definitely be my go-to spot for Chinese food no doubt.“

“This is good Chinese food. Most come here for take out. Dine in isn’t great. The food is quite delicious. It is better than most Chinese places in northern Utah I’ve tried. The Orange Chicken and Broccoli Chicken were very good.“

“We have loved this place for years, it's been a while since we've been there, the food just isn't as good, tastes like soy sauce, they used to make tasty sauces. The waitress was brust, not friendly like they used to be but the service was good. We probably won't be back.“

“My family and I stopped at Pinky’s food hauz and we are so happy we ate here!!! The food is amazing, I had adobong manok and loved every bite! Pinkey is amazing as well, she treated us like family and even gave me a birthday cake and sang happy birthday! We will definitely be back!!! Daghan salamat!!!“

“I’ve been living in Ogden for two years and always wanted to try Eastern Winds. Finally did and now wondering why it took so long. The portions are massive, and the food is great. I got the general tso’s chicken. My wife got the kung pao chicken and enjoyed it.“

“Stopped for dinner one night. The people working in the restaurant were nice. The food was very average. The price was a little steep for the quality of the food. I remember we ordered dinner combinations and the portions were a little light for the price. The restaurant was clean and the staff were nice, but I don't know if I'll be back.“

“I came here with my husband on a weekday and didn't know what to expect. The inside was clean, the service was above and beyond. Our waitress suggested great items. I am not familiar with the food dishes. I thought maybe it would be similar to Chinese with thick and heavy meals. I tried the Thai BBQ chicken and my husband had the sweet and sour chicken. The meals were light , flavorful, delicious. We had such great food and great service we will being our kids next time. The suggested desert was a great end to a wonderful lunch.“

“It's a simple place that looked and felt clean to us. We were the only ones there so the service was great but it was sad to not see them more busy because I think they deserve it. They said they make their own soups and everything really. My wife & I enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back. The prices were mostly between $10 & $15 with a few over that but in today's climate it was very reasonable to us.“

“This Chinese Restaurant is our favorite. There is a lady that waits on us that’s been there a very long time. She is the sweetest. The service is always great. The food tonight was delicious. Their wonton soup is delicious if you get a quart size, you get shrimp and mushrooms and extra stuff you don’t get if you order a cup. The chicken is super yummy. Highly recommended. 👍🏻“

“I have been going to ABC since I was a kid. I was pretty picky back then. I know there have been some changes, and people leave bad reviews, but I enjoy the food every time. I think it’s yummy. I’ve gotten it to go and in restaurant. I’ve never had a bad experience with staff. I’ll keep going back.“

“My favorite Chinese food in Davis or Weber Counties, maybe all of Wasatch Front. Great lunch specials and a fabulous Mongolian Beef! Other family favorites are Orange Chicken, Gen Tso, Kung Pao 3, Sizzling Beef and Lettuce Wraps - highly recommend!“

“Their orange chicken is one of my faves (not a big orange chicken fan). I also always come back for their potato chicken. I don’t love their fried rice it tastes a little burnt. Their noodles are definitely on the oily side as well - it also doesn’t have a ton of veggies. Overall not bad.“

“I get my hair done out this way and have always wondered about Zhang’s. My husband had already had dinner and so I stopped in by myself and tried their Ham Fu Young with Ham Fried rice. It was absolutely delicious!!! The gravy was so flavorful! It reminded me of the Ham Fu Young we used to get at China Night, Star Noodle, and Jade Terrace All among my favorite places that are now extinct. Can’t wait to take my husband and try some more of their dishes.“

“As a buffet, there is a wide choice of both Asian and American buffet staples. There are many different types of prepared shrimp. Many entree, salads, fruit and vegetable choices. There are sushi rolls, pot stickers, dumplings, spring rolls, etc. I enjoyed all the selections I tried and would strongly recommend this restaurant.“

“Stopping at panda tonight was an amazing choice. The service was wonderful from everyone we encountered, and the food was great especially because we’d come in right before the lobby closed. Reyna especially made our night and meal with her great and friendly personality we were so pleased to be served by her. I’d give her 5 stars alone! “NORMA IS AMAZING. We went to the location on riverdale AN HOUR before they closed and the GM told us we had to pick between 3 entrees that had crumbs left in the bowls if we wanted food. We explained how the location should be open for another hour and it is reasonable for us to request different entrees when (in the past) it has only taken 5mins minimum for them to cook what we wanted and she refused and said we have to go to a different location if we wanted more than crumbs. We proceeded to drive all the way to 12th street in which we walked in only 30 mins before closing and they had every entree cooked and available for our choosing. Not only was this a major difference in management styles, but NORMA was so kind and personable with us and welcomed us kindly and met our every need. THANK YOU NORMA and 12th street for your willingness to provide excellent customer service and care up until close. Norma deserves a raise and please fire the GM on riverdale for refusing us service even an hour before closing when we could have gone to literally any other restaurant on riverdale for a late night meal.“

“You guys we're moving too fast and messed up my online order. I ordered broccoli beef and Orange Chicken and ended up getting 2 orange chickens, make sure you guys are slowing down and reading everything correctly before putting it in the bag.“
