“Pepper Lunch was on my list of restaurants to try during a trip to Tokyo this past April, but I unfortunately wasn’t able to. Imagine my surprise when I found out that one had opened right here in Riverton!

The food is absolutely fantastic, and appears very fresh. It’s served sizzling hot right on your own personal heated platter, guaranteeing your meal won’t go cold. I ordered a Jumbo Beef with a fountain drink, and paid around $22. For the quality, taste, and freshness of the food, I thought this was an exceptional value.

Don’t forget to ask for a loyalty punch card! For every 8 meals purchased (technically 7, since one spot is already pre-filled) you’ll get a free meal.

“The food is amazing, highly recommend the Chinese Bentonville box. More food than the typical person can eat, a good mix of what they have, and the main dish hasn't let me down yet. Be careful on the ones marked spicy, if you can't handle spicy foods you'd best stay away.“

“Unbelievable to have this in the south valley! The fish on the donburi and in the sushi rolls is fresh and flavorful. The portions are excellent, especially for a very reasonable price. With a few substitions they can also accommodate gluten allergies on some of the menu items. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as well.“

First the Food. Everything is freshly made, hot, and very good. I've had the chicken, steak, and salmon teriyaki, all of which are fantastic. The plates are massive, and I often have lots of leftovers. The smaller bowls are also a full meal, and often what I order. The drinks are made fresh as well, and I am fond of the Thai Tea and Sakura Coffee. The Boba is fresh made and hot, which makes for a really fun and unique experience, with the ice cold beverage and warm Boba. Its a treat!
Their sushi is also fairly good.

The staff is great. The owners are extremely nice, and very helpful.

“My family celebrated the birthday of my wife and our kids mom. We reserved the big table with the rotating table top. It was so fun. Jeff was our incredible waiter. He was truely the BEST. HE was so friendly and attentive. The entire family felt so relaxed and taken care of. Our 2 grand daughters interacted with him and they remember his name still. This guy was incredible. “keyaki sushi is my favorite! i used to go to garage grill for my sushi nachos. then my best friend sent me a recommendation. ,,,, holy moly! I do wish they'd have an option on door dash to hold jalapenos and add other ingredients, like king crab and fish eggs. people would pay extra. I would! “I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.“

“We visit this place almost every week. I love the fact that the waiters and managers recognize us, they'll ask about our date and even have our order down. Food is always fresh and delicious. We get the Teriyaki Chicken dinner with no vegetables, Monarch sushi, then the Hernan Chicken Tacos of the Curry. For drinks I usually get green tea, we normally spend about $30 + tips so about 40-50 personally, for 2 people. Portions are good.“
