About Fat Jack's Burger Emporium & Southern Kitchen

Fat Jack's Tap House is known for its fantastic burgers, featuring a unique sauce with a hint of garlic. While some may find the prices a bit high, others enjoy the delicious food and friendly service. The menu is very varied, and the food is spectacular, with highlights like the Mormon Burger and the Seoul chicken burger. The meat in the burgers is perfectly cooked, and the flavors are creative and mixed well. The cheese curds are absolutely fantastic, and the pork belly fries and hushpuppies are also well-received, though the cheese curds stand out as the winner.

Some customers noted that the service was slow due to being short-staffed, but they appreciated the fabulous servers who were attentive to their needs. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, spacious, and comfortable, with modern and dynamic decoration. Easy parking and some outdoor seating are available. Chef Colin even visits tables to share experiences, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. If you're in Salt Lake City, Fat Jack's Tap House could be a great stop for a unique burger experience, especially for those with a big appetite.

Our waitress was awesome. She brought out her personal coloring book & crayons for our daughter to use while we waited for our food. Our burgers were delicious & another member of our group said the chicken sandwich was the best she ever had.

We found this place after a day at Capitol Theatre. The service was great. The food was delicious. Best mushroom Swiss burger and homemade potatoes chips ever!

Stopped in after a long day of travel. I picked the best place for what I was craving, a big burger. This place did not disappoint. Started off with a great craft beer. They had a great selection of canned IPA’s. I went with a VooDoo Ranger’s Danger Beach from New Belgium. Highly recommended. The burger choices were plentiful. Wanted to go with a staple food of Utah, so I went with the Pastrami Burger. Bring your appetite, and an extra napkin. This burger is as good as it...read full review
