Texas based human here. Always having a hard time finding awesome kolaches in Salt Lake. These are absolutely amazing!
we saw Hruskas on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives... we were traveling to Park City from NJ and knew we were coming to try them. We were lucky our flight was leaving a little later, and we were so glad we came!! So delicious, we even bought some to take home... and we weren't even stopped at the security check point lol!!!

The Kolache Place is a cute neighborhood spot with delicious sweet and savory kolaches. Customers love the beef birria and sausage egg cheese and jalapeño ones, as well as the strawberry nutella and gravy options. The food is always fresh, not overly sweet, and feels healthy. The staff is very friendly, providing old fashioned customer service that makes people feel welcome. There is outdoor seating. The SLC location offers a short walk for a solid breakfast that doesn’t feel too heavy. Kolaches also freeze and heat up great. Catering is available with a reasonably priced minimum order and quick assistance. Many consider it a Salt Lake and Utah County staple, noting Hruska’s is unique, delicious, and enjoyable. Every kolache leaves customers feeling satisfied, not disappointed.
