The Iceberg Drive Inn 3900 South serves a variety of dishes, including the crispy chicken sandwich and fish sandwich. Their shake menu is impressive, with flavors for every taste, including seasonal options like pumpkin spice and peppermint. The shakes are a standout, featuring chocolate ice cream as the base and generous sizes, even for the mini option. Fries are also a highlight, tasting very crispy, hot, and unique with a crunchy outside and fluffy inside. The burgers and chicken are good, but they often play second fiddle to the ice cream. Food is made-to-order, so there may be a short wait, but it is served hot. The staff is efficient and friendly, contributing to a satisfying dining experience. The ambiance of this drive-thru and outdoor seating fast casual joint offers a nostalgic feel reminiscent of the 60s and 80s, reflecting its nearly 65-year history in Salt Lake City. Overall, Iceberg Drive Inn is highly recommended for its cultural and culinary impact.
