We discovered the New Karoo today & decided to try it out for lunch. We ordered the French Dip; Turkey & Provolone; & Turkey, cranberry & cream cheese sandwiches. They were all delicious!!! Pasta salad was my choice & the kids wanted the potato salad. We had a sweet tooth & grabbed a few rice crispy treats for the road. The staff was super friendly & accommodating. While in the neighborhood I as always looked for something other than the ordinary and preferably of the "Mom and Pop" variety. I found "The New Karroo" and am thankful I did. Had a fresh turkey, cranberry and cream cheese on sourdough with potato salad at a very reasonable price. Very tasty food and friendly service, even scored a "FREE" large rice krispy treat. Great to see another small shop not being driven out by the corporate dives. Visit and enjoy.

Karoo’s is a great place to get a great sandwhich. I usually go for their egg salad, which is amazing, but recently tried their Rueben. It was toasted to perfection! I come all the time!
