This place is so so so good, great food, big portions, and our server Sophie was awesome. We are going to be coming here a lot!
Guacamole was a little bland and just a bit over lined. The tacos were delicious!

La Casa Del Tamal SLC is a great place with a very clean and relaxing atmosphere. The food is delicious and awesome. Guests have enjoyed the pastor tacos, chicken corn tamale with the mole sauce served on a plantain leaf, tamales, and the molcajete. The service is excellent, with servers who are nice, fast, informative, kind, and helpful. It is not a very quiet place, so if noise is an issue, carry out might be a good option. The restaurant is recommended for anyone looking to try a New Mexican place in SLC. Parking is in the alley just past the building on the right, about 3 car lengths in, and the restaurant will validate parking.
