I've eaten Ethiopian in Chicago, Las Vegas and San Francisco; this place is a good as anything I've had. If you're not sure what to order, try a combo plate; you won't be disappointed!

The food was really good. I had the siga wot which was good (spicy and a little sweet). The vegetarian platter though was phenomenal. Would highly recommend the combination platters. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was a lot more relaxed and chill than I expected; it was not a typical restaurant layout or vibe, which caught me off guard.

My granddaughter and I went there for the first time. We shared a sampler for one. EVERYTHING was delicious and flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant

The food seems great and authentic. I was disappointed with my experience because their injera is not gluten free. My understanding is that it is made with teff flour and that there is no need to mix in wheat, otherwise it could be a fantastic GF meal. The server also seemed new, and could not explain why their injera is not GF. I could have looked at an ingredients list and made a decision but this was not offered and I did not ask. He then further messed up our order.

Wish I could appreciate this place, but I will unfortunately not be returning.

Different from typical American dishes, yet VERY flavorful and tasty. The coffee is darker and richer then anywhere else. Definitely recommend!

It is my first trying Ethiopian cuisine and it is very much similar to Indian cuisine. I really enjoyed eating food here.

Mahider Tuesday is a cherished weekly ritual for my husband and me! We always get the one-person combo and the kitfo. We love every component, but the tikil gomen is especially out of this world. The lentil dishes are all very distinctive in texture and flavor. The tomato salad is also top-notch. The injera is always fresh, tender, and delicious. Thanks to Mahider, I look forward to Tuesdays!

I got the Alicha wot & it was so delicious; I was so sad I couldn't finish it all at the restaurant because I was so full. (I definitely took a to-go-box, don't worry) I also tried the lentil sambusa and would highly recommend. The waiter was also super nice & attentive. Definitely coming back

An amazing local black owned business with amazing food and plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. The food is authentic and you can tell bc there are always east Africans eating there. The best Ethiopian food in Utah!
