The food is great -- if they have any. They're almost always out of something fundamental on their menu. I've been lots, and when they have food, it's pretty great. The environment is nice and it's close to campus. The service is fine. But, out of the 10 or so times I've been, they've been out of: tater tots (their main gimmick), burgers both synthetic and real (one of the main menu items), and paninis (one of the other main items). Pleasantly surprised to find this little coffee shop by the University. I used to go to Big Ed’s all the time and they’ve done a good job keeping the old charm of the location alive while making it a really nice coffee shop with delicious fresh food and not very expensive.

I liked this place, got myself a burrito, their Ed sauce was impressively delicious, what shocked me is they make their own sausage patties and they were some of the best I've had in a long time, their tater tots were nice and fluffy
