About Yoko Ramen

Yoko Ramen is a popular restaurant known for its flavorful ramen dishes. Visitors often praise the broth, describing it as incredible and emphasizing the soft boiled eggs as a highlight. Many recommend the chicken ramen, which is considered a favorite. The atmosphere is described as cute and suitable for dining out, with friendly staff members who can enhance the experience. Some reviews mention that the place is great for takeout, especially to avoid extra fees.

However, opinions on the value of the food vary. Several reviewers find the prices high, noting that a bowl of ramen can cost around $18 to $20, which they feel is not justified by the quality or portion size. The ramen is described as more Americanized compared to other ramen shops, and some feel the variety and customization options are limited. One reviewer pointed out that the ramen was average, with a large amount of cabbage and only okay broth, while others still enjoyed the food despite the price.

Additionally, the restaurant’s tipping policy has been a point of criticism. The mandatory 15% tip and the prompt for an additional tip can feel off-putting, and some customers have experienced unfriendly or unhelpful service. Despite these concerns, the overall experience remains positive for many who enjoy the food and atmosphere, though the rising prices and service issues may make frequent visits less appealing.

so good. got the chicken ramen with seasonal grilled veggies and it was just perfect! can't wait to go again 🥰
Food is good but $6 service charge on takeout is crazy
Yoko ramen is my favorite ramen place! I moved out of salt lake a few years ago and came back to visit today and yoko ramen is just as good as I remember. Yes the prices have gone up but so have every other restaurant since covid. The broth is incredible and I love the poached/soft boiled eggs. It's the best. Get the chicken ramen. Also call your order in for takeout to avoid fees (as with many restaurants).
