“I purchased a Groupon for a distillery tour and called to setup an appt. Connor the head distiller answered and said they normally don’t do them Friday but come on in between 3-4pm. He made the tour and tasting more like friends hanging out and have a good time. We had an amazing time with some great products. I highly recommend for the atmosphere and spirits.“

“Update: I will no longer tip at this establishment after seeing a male worker grab a handful of tips out of the tip jar for his own pocket. It reminds me of another place who would keep tips for themselves.

The current type of tofu they offer doesn't taste great. Some sauces are too spicy or have an artificial taste. Other than that it's good for abc style food.

Good, it was medium sized, they could have been more generous with the vegetables in the dish. The food tastes pretty good. Next time I'll order the noodles. They could improve their drink selection the most.“

“When we first came to Utah in Aug 2020 we asked around and most people said there were not many good Mexican restaurants on SLC. Being from Southern California we know good Mexican food given the large Latino population. When we got a recommendation for El Gallo Loco, in Sandy of all places, we were skeptical but decided to go check it out. The words AMAZING do not even describe it. Alberto is super nice, friendly, and really helped us to pick dishes we thoroughly enjoyed. He is super humble about the place, and really took the time to find out what types of food and flavors we liked, and made recommendations which did not disappoint on any level. Their Tortilla soup is hands down the BEST we have ever had, and we’ve had a lot. Their chicken - WOW. Marinated and tender in any dish - tacos, burritos, fajitas - even just the chicken. They have 3 authentic salsas - the green sauce on burritos is so good we thought about it all week !! Chips are perfect - not greasy at all. Good range of drinks, beer, wine , margaritas and even horchata - if that’s not authentic I don’t know what is. This is one of our GO TO places for sure.“

You can taste the care they put into every dish, especially knowing they cook with beef tallow instead of seed oils—it makes the food feel cleaner, richer, and genuinely satisfying without that heavy, greasy aftertaste. Their mozzarella sticks are unreal, easily the best I’ve ever had: perfectly crisp on the outside, stretchy and flavorful on the inside. Also don't miss out on the balls of fire! “I spent $23 for a portion of Curry with rice, Naan, and a coke.
And it was worth every cent, I specifically ordered the mango chicken curry, and it was sweet and spicy.
The lady that served me was very kind and helpful when I wasn’t sure on what to get.
I did not wait long to get the food either, from when I sat down and ordered it took about 5-10 minutes for the food to show up in front of me, and it didn’t taste like I had given up food quality for that quick time.

We met there at 3pm and there was only one other table with guests, so it was the perfect place to catch up without interruptions. It's a bus your dishes, so we didn't have to worry about someone checking on us every few minutes. We spent almost 2 hours and it was perfect to have a peaceful conversation in a pleasant environment!“

We had joined the online waitlist expecting to be seated around 7 p.m., but since it was such a busy night, our wait stretched about 30 minutes longer.
