The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great place to go if you're not in the mood to dress up but want something 100 times better than a fast food restaurant can offer. They have unique sandwiches, burgers and salads. The portions are generous and the prices decent. Their sweet potato fries are the best I've had. My favorite is the Tri-tip Steak salad. We share a whole salad and fries and come away satiated.“

“We received great customer service, the guys working were friendly and conversing with my man. We are originally from Hawaii so it was cool to know that we’re from Hawaii also. I tried the furikake chicken and teriyaki grilled beef, the beef was nice and tender and had good teriyaki flavor. My man got the furikake chicken and kalbi, the furikake chicken was flavorful and crispy. The kalbi was marinated well and the portions were good. We also got the Lau Lau, it was a little dry but it was pretty good when pairing it with the chilli pepper water. The guava cake and poke was okay, I feel like it would have been really good if we had it fresh. The containers said it was made the day before. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and this place does remind us of back home for sure!“

“We ate the most creative and divine food last night at Communal. The portions are big and they are for sharing. The new summer salad with fresh peaches and corn was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The blend of flavors was absolutely amazing. Had I known how delicious it was beforehand I would have just ordered that for dinner. My husband and I shared the Greek chicken, crispy fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots with pistachios. Wonderful homemade rolls were served while we awaited our dinner. Everything is freshly cooked so plan to enjoy a wonderful, scrumptious and leisurely dinner. Wish we had time to go back and try some other dishes. Everything was presented beautifully and the service was excellent. A divine dining experience!“

“Can’t go wrong choosing this pizza place. This historic location never disappoints. Both with the food and atmosphere. The salad bar is top notch. They also have a pasta bar with many sauces to choose from. The pizza and calzones are amazing. Homemade root beer is a must! Todays visit was pleasant on a friday late afternoon. Besides, I'm basically here for the bread pudding. One issue: The roast beef was tough as a leather sole. You gotta either nail the RB or just don't offer it. The shrimp was delicious as usual. Don't fill up on bread, kids! Or do, if you're inclined thusly.“

“One of the best burgers I’ve had. I came in around 8:30 PM on a slow night, and the food took a little while to come out, but I’m not complaining. This wasn’t a premade burger that they warmed up, I watched them fire the patty after I ordered. I had the garlic burger, and the fried egg made a bit of a mess, as they always do. But overall the flavor on the patty, and garlic aoli was incredible. I’ll be back whenever I’m in town. 50/50 fries were also excellent.“

“My wife and I finally stopped by Tamale Market in Provo, after hearing great things about their tamales. We were met at the door by a wonderful guy who introduced us to their amazing homemade tamales. We ended up ordering a half dozen after trying their Red Chile Beef, which was absolutely delicious. Very sweet corn tamales but they are fantastic. I’d love to see if the people giving out one star reviews have traveled outside Utah… If someone finds a better tamale in Utah let me know!“

“My family has been to silver dish a couple different times. We're from Idaho and love stopping at this place on our way through. Cute little place that has food packed with great flavors and good sized portions. Employees are friendly and work hard to keep this a great experience.“

“Co-Located with Guru's Cafe in Provo, it shares some of the same aesthetics. I "checked in" on YELP at Guru's when we had dinner there and was "rewarded" with a coupon for a "free cookie" from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I don't accept gifts or discounts from places I review unless it is a printed coupon anyone can use and this offer seemed close enough to that standard to give it a try. Also, living hundreds of miles away there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. Generally, my view is if I wouldn't buy something, getting it for free with a coupon is "no great deal." It was a busy day for the hard working crew at Enlighten and Guru's and it was also within an hour of their closing. After enjoying a very good dinner I went to the bakery counter to find out what my coupon could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie left which had a corner broken off, some sugar cookies, and some gluten-free cookies, one each of chocolate chip, the other was Snickerdoodle. Of all of these the broken peanut butter cookie was the most appealing to me and sugar cookies the least. I also thought to myself I'll take "the damaged one" so they can sell the others. The nice lady grabbed it with tongs and just add she tried to put it in a bag with them the cookie fell to the floor. She was mortified. She asked if I wanted a suggest cookie instead and I explained that would not go over well with my wife who would be sharing it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies, which I accepted. The grace she handled this with is more noteworthy than the cookies. They were good, even two days later when we enjoyed them with decaf enhanced with a little Irish Cream back at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato Cheesecake which really intrigued me but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru's and our would not have kept well during our drive back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still a at the bakery, I "checked in" on YELP and... got another coupon for a "free cookie". The next time were there I'm not going to use it. Instead, I'm going to leave room for desert and try a slice of that Sweet Potato (or some other) cheesecake. 😁 Bon Appétit 😀“

“I was on-campus today doing a photo shoot for an old friend and classmate from BYU and for old times sake, we grabbed a bite at the Cougareat. This place has improved by 500% since the last time I stopped in for a meal...which was in 1996, the year I graduated. It’s great to see all of the franchise offerings along with BYU food services options. I’m not a fast food patron on the outside so I skipped it here also and went straight for a salad but if I was still a student at BYU, I would be stoked to have some comfort food available w/o leaving campus. Nicely done BYU! PS: The plethora of soda offerings with caffeine is the cherry on top. 😁👍🏻“
