“After about 10 visits, K's finally fell short for me. 90% is still an 'A', I guess. **I won't count the time I ordered an xl poke, but got the regular size.** I placed an online order about 40 minutes in advanced (because that was the soonest the system would allow). Everything seemed to be going to well, but after 40 minutes of waiting I show up and they say their systems are acting funny and they didn't get the order in. So after 40 minutes of waiting, no call, no text, no communication. I show up and the order hadn't even been prepared yet. So the young man puts the order in finally and I expect maybe another 10-15 minute wait, but no 30 minutes later (after already waiting 40 minutes) the order is finally ready. I couldn't believe after having such incredible service that this would happen. It's unfortunate, the owners are really nice people.“

“Top notch pizza, amazing cinnamon bites, delicious cáptese salid, we absolutely loved the cheese scarpa but what was the absolute best were the wings. We all agreed that they were the best wings we have ever had. I recommend them plain as the skin was perfect. Our group tried 10 pizzas and stuffed ourselves and we skill couldn’t stop eating the cinnamon bites. Our favorite pizzas were the margarita and the backyard barbecue.“

“Me and my wife like this place better than Mo’Bettahas and L&L BBQ. The food is really good especially the Furikake garlic Chicken! It’s got a great flavor and adds a nice crispy flavor into the meal. Also their teriyaki sauce is super good! One of the best I’ve tasted. “We ate the most creative and divine food last night at Communal. The portions are big and they are for sharing. The new summer salad with fresh peaches and corn was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The blend of flavors was absolutely amazing. Had I known how delicious it was beforehand I would have just ordered that for dinner. My husband and I shared the Greek chicken, crispy fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots with pistachios. Wonderful homemade rolls were served while we awaited our dinner. Everything is freshly cooked so plan to enjoy a wonderful, scrumptious and leisurely dinner. Wish we had time to go back and try some other dishes. Everything was presented beautifully and the service was excellent. A divine dining experience!“

They also have a pasta bar with many sauces to choose from. The pizza and calzones are amazing. Homemade root beer is a must! Todays visit was pleasant on a friday late afternoon. No wait at all and not very crowded. Server was attentive and friendly.“

“I’m from out of town and loved coming here again. I brought my mom, daughter and son. We all really enjoyed the food. Great flavor!! I could tell the cashier was really annoyed when my son wanted to change up the salad. Granted he is super picky and I wanted all his unwanted toppings on the side so it was basically lettuce with toppings on the side. The restaurant was very dirty. Very dirty bathrooms and lots of grime on the floors and walls. Sticky tables and chairs. Great food though“

“The food was delish! The service was amazing! Our server was very attentive and helpful. I ordered one of the burgers and mac n cheese and both were a 10/10. My husband ordered the steak n frites and said it was a little overcooked but still had good flavor and the sauce with it was very yummy. Will definitely be returning to try the breakfast menu!“

“#ChuckARamaBuffet is a mainstay in Utah buffet lore. They proclaim their “Home cooked” style, and I find it comforting. They serve lunch and for a little more dinner, which includes more options. They have fresh baked goods, and a great salad bar that has many different salad dressings to explore and enjoy. I love the Lemon Chiffon Jello, and the fresh fruit. They usually have a couple good soups including a great #TomatoBasil soup. I enjoy the fried and roasted chicken. For dinner the carving station is great it includes Turkey, Ham, and Roast beef with a nice Jus and horseradish sauce. I often crave Canadian #Poutine so I make my own using the fresh French Fries and luscious brown gravy with cheese from the salad bar. Special nights bring out special food themes including Mexican Thursday which allows me to make #Tacos and #nachos to my hearts content and On Saturday it’s Italian focused which includes Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs. The Desserts are wide ranging and often includes a decent #Carrotcake , German Chocolate cake, bread pudding and soft serve Ice cream. They have a fantastic open drink bar that includes many different Soft drinks, #Horchata , icee, and coffee. The drinks are included in the buffet price. Overall Chuck-A-Rama is a great place to bring a group, a family or even by yourself if you want to mix and match foods and enjoy a lot of it for an inexpensive buffet price that includes the drinks!“

“My wife and I finally stopped by Tamale Market in Provo, after hearing great things about their tamales. We were met at the door by a wonderful guy who introduced us to their amazing homemade tamales. We ended up ordering a half dozen after trying their Red Chile Beef, which was absolutely delicious. Very sweet corn tamales but they are fantastic. I’d love to see if the people giving out one star reviews have traveled outside Utah… If someone finds a better tamale in Utah let me know!“

“I was on-campus today doing a photo shoot for an old friend and classmate from BYU and for old times sake, we grabbed a bite at the Cougareat. This place has improved by 500% since the last time I stopped in for a meal...which was in 1996, the year I graduated. It’s great to see all of the franchise offerings along with BYU food services options. I’m not a fast food patron on the outside so I skipped it here also and went straight for a salad but if I was still a student at BYU, I would be stoked to have some comfort food available w/o leaving campus. Nicely done BYU! PS: The plethora of soda offerings with caffeine is the cherry on top. 😁👍🏻“

“We were in Provo on a trip and wanted to get some Pizza. We ended up at Slab Pizza. They have a different approach by having you order a "slab" (1/4 pizza) instead of a whole pizza. If you want a whole pizza, you order 4 slabs. Some of the pizza topping combos are unique, but very good. I would give it 5 stars but it is a little on the pricey side. However, I would go back.“

“Co-Located with Guru's Cafe in Provo, it shares some of the same aesthetics. I "checked in" on YELP at Guru's when we had dinner there and was "rewarded" with a coupon for a "free cookie" from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I don't accept gifts or discounts from places I review unless it is a printed coupon anyone can use and this offer seemed close enough to that standard to give it a try. Also, living hundreds of miles away there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. Generally, my view is if I wouldn't buy something, getting it for free with a coupon is "no great deal." It was a busy day for the hard working crew at Enlighten and Guru's and it was also within an hour of their closing. After enjoying a very good dinner I went to the bakery counter to find out what my coupon could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie left which had a corner broken off, some sugar cookies, and some gluten-free cookies, one each of chocolate chip, the other was Snickerdoodle. Of all of these the broken peanut butter cookie was the most appealing to me and sugar cookies the least. I also thought to myself I'll take "the damaged one" so they can sell the others. The nice lady grabbed it with tongs and just add she tried to put it in a bag with them the cookie fell to the floor. She was mortified. She asked if I wanted a suggest cookie instead and I explained that would not go over well with my wife who would be sharing it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies, which I accepted. The grace she handled this with is more noteworthy than the cookies. They were good, even two days later when we enjoyed them with decaf enhanced with a little Irish Cream back at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato Cheesecake which really intrigued me but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru's and our would not have kept well during our drive back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still a at the bakery, I "checked in" on YELP and... got another coupon for a "free cookie". The next time were there I'm not going to use it. Instead, I'm going to leave room for desert and try a slice of that Sweet Potato (or some other) cheesecake. 😁 Bon Appétit 😀“
