“Edit: this review was actually for the Springville location. But I went again tonight and it was excellent. Great food and great service.Old review: The food was excellent and came quickly once I ordered. I would give five stars except that the service was very poor. The restaurant was nearly empty when I came in. The young man who was running the front seated me and appeared to promptly become unaware of my presence. I tried to give him a chance but finally (after at least 10 minutes) stood up, found him and asked to place my order. Number one they need more staff (it was busier when I left). Number two he was not busy when I came in and basically ignored me. I hope they get their act together in terms of service so they can stay in business.“

“Everything was amazing. I don’t eat Thai food often and finding a good place is hard. I’ll just say this was by far by best Thai food experience not just in Utah but ever. I highly recommend the yellow curry, any sushi roll, or the orange chicken. Very great experience.“

“My wife and I both got curry dishes, and we were both impressed with how good it was. Little spicy, even though we wanted no spice. Granted, asking for no spice in Thai food is like asking for water that’s not wet. Still absolutely delicious. And not to mention, the food was on the table quickly and the service was awesome. Would love to go back, and probably will. There just aren’t that many excellent food options in this particular spot of town, and this is my favorite so far. Oh, and did I mention cheap? Because it’s cheap. $11 (before tips) per curry plate, and the portions were generous enough for the price. If they ever increase the prices, I’ll probably do the grumpy dad thing and complain about the economy, but I’ll also probably keep coming back. Because the food is really good. Did I mention it’s cheap?“

“My work ordered lunch to go for the whole team since Thai is an easy option for our group's dietary restrictions/preferences. I was super impressed by their organization and the food was fabulous. I got the lunch special yellow curry with chicken & beef pepper steak and rice. Definitely worth a return trip!“

The food was delicious and very authentic to the Thai family run restaurants that we are used to going to in Denver. The food was well priced and even the smoothie was amazing.“

“My go-to place for years!! Weather's gloomy, go to Spicy Thai for some massman curry. Their lunch specials are spot on. Love their tom kha and fresh roll. My go-to noodle dish is their Pad Woonsen, tastes like home to me. Since I'm a regular I always order the same dishes, but maybe I'll try the others over time. Pad Thai is delicious too, but I just prefer the Pad Woonsen. If you're a first timer to Thai restaurants I recommend the massman curry and pad Thai. Classic dishes. The food quality has varied since Covid, but my most recent visit it has gone back up. Still recommend. Service has varied as well since Covid but my last visit, it too has improved. Miss the old crew who would remember me and my gals as the "extra rice" girls. They use to play Thai music videos way back in the day, but since they've grown (they're open on Mondays now) it's more traditional restaurant vibes. Do love the giant elephant.“

“There are several Thai restaurants in the Provo/Orem area and Golden Thai fits neatly into the busy collection of restaurants that sit out front of the Orem Cinemark. I went on a double date and the currys we ordered were all unique and well made. I especially loved the veggie spring rolls we ordered as an appetizer.“

Agree the outside is a bit run down but place was packed with locals and I see why- it's really great. We had sushi- soup-bento boxes, all very high quality and large portions.“
