“I come here with my grandpa he really likes it here. He is a very picky person. The Menudo and Caldo de Res are so good. They gave us fresh hand made tortillas with our order. We always leave with our bellies full and satisfied. The customer service is top notch! I will definitely be trying more dishes when we visit again.“

“so i have a little 6 yr old boy with Autism and let me tell you i was super impressed with the staff at the ogden street market. we were in line for the donuts and he kept asking to go over and eat your food. ( he has a very picky eater so I did not think he would) But i walked him over there and he started looking at all the food and was kinda interested. with out me even asking the staff made him a taco for him to try!!!! once they handed him the plate he simply said “no thanks i don’t want it.” the staff then told me I could put whatever toppings I wanted to and try it myself. this to me was amazing. “Me and my mom went here for lunch, we wanted to try something new. I ordered the 2 beef enchilada and my mom ordered the smothered chicken chimichanga. This has been one of the cleanest restaurants I have been to, the music is warm is and inviting and at the perfect volume, and the food was amazing, it was fresh, hot authentic and flavourful. (Sadly we have no pictures because we ate it so fast.). I wish they would have given us more chips because the salsa was so good and the torilla chips were warm. Prices were very reasonable for the portions sizes and the service was so sweet. Definitely coming back soon!“

“Welcoming as soon as you walk in. The server was attentive and helpful when asked for recommendations. We started with the choriqueso, then enchiladas rancheros, this came with homemade refried beans, a Verde that had kick to it, fajitas Texanas, that came with shrimp, chicken, steak, green and red peppers, onions, tomatos, homemade refried beans, avocado slices, lettuce. The food was fresh, hot, very plentiful and great for the price. This is a will be back to eat again.“

“Ok first off the people leaving bad reviews makes no sense. If you leave a container of salsa out at room temperature for even an hour it starts to bulge especially in this heat we're having but anyways I ordered here for the first time and i have a big family of 9 so we are usually going to 3 different places to accommodate our kids and what not and this place literally had it all. Big menu of different items to satisfy everyone. Portion sizes were very big. I got the aguachile and had enough for lunch and dinner and it had so much flavor. The food was hot and fresh. I have no complaints. Everytime i get a torta somewhere the bread is ALWAYS dry but not here, it was perfect and so much toppings. “Not all Mexican Food is created equal. This restaurant in Ogden hits all the high marks for taste, presentation, quality and customer satisfaction. Very friendly owners are very helpful explaining what items are if necessary. The portions are huge. My Birria Fries could easily feed 2 or maybe 3 people. The fries themselves are great, thick, perfectly browned and not hard, perfect size for toppings of meat, cheese and sauces. One half is set up for meals with a toppings bar and the other side is for delicious desserts. Either way the sitting areas are plenty and easily accessible for seconds of either type….. A recommendation from our neighbors sent us here. We are so glad they did.“

“Finally made it over to Taco Wako. It was a spur of the moment decision and paid off tremendously. I ordered the Ranchero Chicken Burrito that is the Friday special. My wife got the Waco Style Quesadilla. The chicken burrito was good I have zero complaints about it. I enjoyed every bite of it. If I were to order it again, I would probably not get the cabbage in it. But I'm just not a cabbage or lettuce fan inside of a burrito. But as always with a new place, I opted to try their default menu item before I start customizing it to my taste. The Quesadilla on the other hand was epic. It is worth it for you to go here just for the Quesadilla. We will be back for the Quesadilla. And I'm looking forward to trying some of the other menu items. The Waco Style Quesadilla has cheese on the outside and the inside. And is just fantastic. I will keep gushing over it because it is that good. So unless you're lactose intolerant, no belay that. Even if you're lactose intolerant, take your little pill and go get the Quesadilla Waco Style. It is worth it and will change your life and your point of view on lactose-oriented products.
Parking is easy but getting into the parking lot can be a little complicated, you either have to turn in by the bank or well that's really the only choice. Turn in at the bank, and go up to Taco Wako. They do serve Pepsi products so they aren't perfect. But they do provide other options like Dole Whip and Jarritos so you can drink something that is just not as awful as Pepsi.“

“When I have extreme cravings for chilaquiles I go here. I love the choices of meat that you can put on top and you can get eggs and you can get red or green sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The two salsas those were actually tasty the red one was very picoso. The chile relleno the sauce had so much flavor. And nothing was cold. The bisteak was seasoned perfectly it tasted so bomb. The egg and the chilaquiles complimented each other, the sauce I couldn't get enough of it. The rice and beans even had flavor. Everything was packaged nice and neat. These pictures do not do the food Justice at all. Was a very nice comfort food late lunch. I don't eat here as often as I like but when I do I have a good experience.“

The soda machine was out, we were told right off. I ordered the Fridays special chicken enchiladas with refried beans and rice. I had a combination plate with the following: 2 chicken enchiladas with red enchilada sauce--exceptional, tender, moist flavorful chicken, freshly made. 1 beef street taco--also Delicious with fresh slices of lime you can squeeze over, fresh onion and cilantro Rice & Beans -- also Delicious. Normally I never have anything to say about beans and rice, most places just bland and flavorless. These were so good I cleaned my plate. Ordered a side of 2 jalapeños. Got two deliciously spicy grilled large peppers, perfectly grilled. Chips (homemade) and salsa were great. Topped it off with 2 ice-cold Coronas with lime. Fantastic meal, Delicious food.
