Cafe Rio’s newer stores with the kiosk ordering is atrocious. They never get your order right, the screens that show that your order is “up” are time based, rather than actually if your food is ready (and are always wrong), and the kiosks didn’t let me add the free chips and queso offer. We had no idea thus was a to go Cafe Rio. The ordering kiosk wouldn't scan our loyalty card, so we placed the order through the app. My husband asked for shredded lettuce - he didn't receive it on his salad. I had a tostado that comes with shredded lettuce - mine had big pieces of lettuce. I ordered a vegetarian tostado because shredded chicken was $2.00 extra??? What??? My partner and I’ve never dined at the location, since we usually order online for pickup, so I can’t speak to atmosphere but their accuracy of orders and quality of food are inconsistent.Today, my sweet pork burrito was noticeably worse in quality and I received like 4 pieces of lettuce. The meat was noticeably tough and not sweet at all.In the past, they’ve failed to exclude pico de gallo or cilantro in salads despite the request.
