“My husband and I have been going to this restaurant since they started, we go very often and we have never had any problems. Everything is very delicious, they are very friendly and are attentive to everything you need. I love the Menudo and the roast quesadillas ?? ???“
“There food is a amazing! And they are very nice to costumers. And I would come back again anytime!Kid-friendliness: Me and my friends were going around the mall and wanted lunch and we decided to go to Dona Mary Mexican grill and they were very nice and answered any of our questions“
“My wife had me drive all the way to Orem (from Sandy) in December just before Christmas just to visit Yoyo's Taco Truck. Well, OK...so we DID do some Christmas Shopping at University Place Mall afterward - and ate our tacos there in the mall's food court - but for us, the highlight of our Christmas Holiday trip was YoYo's Tacos! My wife had heard of this taco truck on Facebook and since it had rave reviews we just HAD to make the trip to the Smith's parking lot there off of 350 N Freedom Blvd. and found the Yoyo's truck! I ordered three street tacos ($2.80 EA) with the Birria marinated beef...which was de-lish! But I should have ordered the much larger burrito with the Birria for $14.00 My wife enjoyed her street tacos and we realized that we were still hungry after finishing only a few each. But hey, live and learn, right? With that said, the cost of dinner exceeded the value, we think. YMMV. Next trip we're going when it is much warmer (they had a nice LPG warmer outside for the customers,) and get larger orders for each of us. I found out that I love Birria...but never heard of it before. The Birria was definitely the go-to meat for these tacos, burritos, and their other specials. May have to order "Danny's Special" next time...a plate of Birria with rice, beans, four corn tortillas, and Au Jus (what YoYo's refers to as "Consome") for dipping...all for $15. Four Stars for some flavorful Michoacan cuisine but it came at a high price (doesn't everything these days?) that didn't leave us feeling like we fully got our money's worth.“
“We love this place! The food is awesome! They have spectacular tacos and the carne asada is to die for. Their red taco sauce is incredibly flavorful and packs a nice, spicy punch! The family that runs the place works hard as well and makes sure you are completely satisfied. Definitely a fun and delicious place to eat!“
“Very good, better than I expected even with 4.7 stars. The free chips and salsa are the best I've had at a restaurant like this. We got the shrimp Baja tacos and the ceviche tostada with fish. The shrimp tacos were the best I had. I also liked the beans. The rice was average. The ceviche was less fish forward, but was still good. We went for an early dinner so it was empty. The building interior is nice.A little pricey, but good value.“
“It's the first place I've been to and I told them something that was wrong and they didn't bother. On the contrary, they gave me an extra for my food that I had asked for without words. It's a very cool place and apart from that, the food is very nice and friendly, for my taste, I'm kind of special. It is my favorite in seafood. I've been to those who are in Salt Lake but those don't even hit their heels, the rockers from Salt Lake are always in a bad mood “
“Delicious food - everything we ate was amazing! The server recommended great options and we enjoyed it all. Excellent and very attentive service! We had a wonderful experience! Some of my favorite dishes include the Sugar Cane Filet and Chicken Tinga Tacos. The Butter Cake is well known and worth every bite!“
“Very generous portions of fresh, hot delicious food. You will definitely be full and need a takeout box. A perfect variety on the menu. I especially loved the carne asada and fried ice cream. We'd eat here more, if it weren't for the prices, but definitely worth the splurge when we come.“
“Excellent place, I didn't think eating at a gas station would be so good, the truth is that this place is really very good, the food the service, I don't want to detract from the business for being a gas station environment, that's why I did it I rate 4.5. Flavors that remind you of the house.“
“Very good place, highly recommended, a perfect place to share with the family with the delicious flavor of Mexican cuisine in each dish served, the molcajete was a super delicious dish to share, the chips and the sauce had a special flavor, it was perfect to taste While we were waiting for the main course, they have some delicious desserts, we had the opportunity to taste the flan made by the owners of the establishment,The service was great, we will definitely return, very attentive, 100% recommended this place“
“This place is never busy. Some friends suggested this place so we tried it out. No line to order and the food was really good. It has a drive through which is unique. The tortillas are amazing and portions are large so my wife and I shared a plate. And a small highlight for me was they have Sunkist on tap.“
“This place is amazing! Had the asada nachos, chicken quesadilla, and the churro bites. All of the food was fantastic. The nachos were delicious, all the chips were covered, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The quesadilla was also amazing! The churro bites were complete heaven. The staff were also super helpful and had great recommendations and it was very clean. Love love love this place and will absolutely be coming back!“
“Delicious Mexican restaurant that many pass by. Was a little cold in the restaurant but the food by far made up for it. The food looks stunning and is very delicious. We ordered 2 tacos one de carnitas and the other de pastor along with one torta de lengua, food was one of the best I’ve had. They have a high variety salsa bar and the salsas there are truly spicy. Fast service and welcoming atmosphere loved coming here and will come again.“
“We were greeted by several people as soon as we walked in. It felt very homey in the dining area too, and the tables were clean. The beans and the rice were the best I have had at a Mexican restaurant. The chimichanga was good, but it could have been crispier, and I think that more seasoning in the beef would make it even better. The food here is a little pricier than other places, but I don’t think we were overcharged for the quality of food we got.“
“Super tasty tacos! Suadero tacos are great!??????If I could give Tacos Don Joaquin more than five stars, I absolutely would! This place is a hidden gem nestled in American Fork, and let me tell you, their tacos are out of this world.First off, let's talk about their suadero tacos. Oh my goodness, the succulent, tender meat packed into each bite is an absolute delight for the taste buds. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the meat just melts in your mouth. I could honestly eat these tacos every single day and never get tired of them. And then there's the cabeza tacos. Wow. The rich, flavorful beef head meat is something you have to taste to believe. It might sound a bit adventurous, but trust me, once you try it, you'll be hooked. The texture is divine, and the seasoning is on point.I recently brought my Vietnamese friend here for his first taste of authentic Mexican tacos, and let me tell you, he was blown away. He couldn't stop raving about how delicious they were, and now he's just as obsessed with Tacos Don Joaquin as I am.The service here is always top-notch, with friendly staff who are happy to recommend their favorites. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. If you're in the American Fork area and craving some mouthwatering tacos, do yourself a favor and head over to Tacos Don Joaquin. You won't be disappointed!“
“First time here. I ordered the egg burger with fries. It was delicious. It was more than I expected. The hamburger bun was multi grain. The combination of the toppings and a perfect egg, amazing! The burger itself was huge and well made. All this for $12! ?“
“The pupusas here are DELICIOUS! I love this place so so much! I'm a huge pupusa fan, and I hate how they are in Provo because I live in Draper, and every time I'm craving a pupusa, I make the drive! It's totally worth it. Let me tell you why these are the best pupusas In all of UT. I've been around literally EVERY pupusa place in UT, and none NONE of them compare to these delicious pupusas. Something about them is just different. The sizing is perfect, the beans are delicious, the cheese is so flavorful, and meshes well with the beans inside the pupusa. I always get the revueltas. Which are the beans, cheese, and pork ones. The pork is SOOOO delicious. Definitely is and has that homemade taste. Very authentic. They give you the red sauce on the side with the traditional Salvadorian cabbage salad. These both combined with the pupusas, are heavily. YUM! Also, not just the pupusas are delicious here. Their other foods on the menu are delicious and equally as yummy as the pupuas. The waiters are always so sweet, and the tables are super clean, great atmosphere, and great service! Would I recommend this place? Um, ABSOLUTELY drop everything and go now!!!! Lol, I will also say the price of the pupusas is pretty great for the portion size! As you can tell... this place has my heart. I've been coming here since I was a little girl and when it was owned by the previous owners. The new owners are Bolivian but kept the same recipes! I just wish they were open on Sundays still. Now they don't open Sundays. Furthermore, I still Love this place!!!!“
“one of our top restaurants in utah. The food is so good, you have to get the tacos and quesadilla. The homemade tortillas are amazing. My husband is gluten free and we loved the options (: The servers are so sweet. The atmosphere is adorable. Go!!!“
“Absolutely love it here, have been a few times and it's delicious, quick and easy. I don't speak Spanish and am not particularly cultured when it comes to food but they are patient with me and always answer whatever questions I have. Great service, great portions, all around fantastic.“
“I'm going to keep it short and simple. Jurassic tacos are pretty good but definitely unhealthy. The people didn't put beans on my taco so they took it back and put beans on it and then felt bad so they gave me some little cards I can exchange for free tacos and a drink. I won't use it but that was nice. It's also $11 for one taco so I would say it's priceyParking: Right up frontKid-friendliness: The tables are a bit high up so it might be possible that they could fall offWheelchair accessibility: High seats“
“I would give it 100 stars if I could. Every single time we come here, which is a lot, it exceeds my expectations. Staff is always on point, they are fast and the food is sooo good. A few reviews said they didn’t like the “run down atmosphere” personally I love that it’s not like every other chain restaurant for 10 miles. It’s 100% its own place and they make you feel like one of their own. We love joes!“
“If you are anywhere near 970 West 800 North in Orem, do yourself a favor and stop at Milagros Mexican Restaurant. Some of the best Mexican food I've had! The prices are what you'd expect for a good restaurant, not inexpensive but not outrageous either. Great food, great staff.“
“One of my husbands favorite places to eat tacos. He loves the shrimp tacos and the carne asada tacos remind him of home in Mexico. We love the Al Pastor tacos and the roasted salsa. Definitely recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: Have a huge ramp up to the place to order.“
“Such good, authentic tacos! I got carnita gringa and the pork taco, and they were both so good! There's a little booth by the food pick-up where you can add things like onions and cilantro, or get little cups of tomatillo or guac sauce. Clean and chill atmosphere. The servers were also really nice! Great place, will go back again.“
“UNREAL, AMAZING, DELICIOUS!! We found this place as students a couple years ago and have since moved away but we dream of this place. Small but mighty, this place is it. It’s hard to find the real Mexican food but La Catrina’s always gets it right. Wish we lived closer. Oh well, we will continue to travel to Provo to get out fix!!Kid-friendliness: Our kids eat the grilled chicken off the tacos (they love) and we order fries too. It’s a win for everyone.“
“We were there this weekend and the pozole was very delicious, the grain feels like natural corn cooked at home, not from a can.The birria and the golden birria tacos were also very delicious, you also feel a homemade flavor. To drink we tried horchata water and for people who don't drink very sweet drinks it was too sweet. The service was very fast and friendly.“
“Food and service was excellent. Homemade chips and salsa while you wait is a nice touch. The shredded beef enchiladas had moist meat and the dish overall was one of the best I've had in a long time. Several options for little kids to eat located on the kids menu.Johan was my server, and he was very attentive to drinks and his demeaner was kind and friendly. As we left the table he said "bye friends." I will definitely be returning the next chance I get.Great place, great food, and great service.“
“Such a fun place to hang out. We got the teriyaki steak and it was incredible. Great vibes and good food. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone that is visiting. We’ve lived in Provo for 8 years and this is one of the best places to eat downtown.“
“I found this driving by tonight and tried both porks and barrio tacos, gringa style. They were delicious and loaded with cilantro and onions, overall huge portions with loaded meat on the tacos. Plenty of radishes and the 3 sauces are so good that you help yourself too. I arrived later and the limes were nearly out but I gave her the vessel to refill. They had tons of drink choices and chips and the menu was enough for all to be happy with. The ladies were kind and gracious! I will be back. I honestly love when ones are kind and the food matches“
“Whenever they are offering their Chiles en Nogada, be sure to order it! This chef is from the region this dish was created and he prepares this pork and apple dish in cream sauce better than the best restaurants I have had it in Mexico. The staff is delightful, as well. This down-stairs restaurant is a hidden gem.“
“One of our favorites, the food is good but our last visit was a little disappointing. Probably not the fault of the management, but I'll always think about the screaming child whenever I consider going there.I know, that's technically not something that the management could control, but it's unfortunately what what I'll think of.when I go there. The "child" was shrieking almost constantly when we first arrived and I suppose the reason the shrieking stopped is because the child and his/her parents left. I don't think I've ever heard a noise as annoying. To parents who think their child's noises are music to their ears, I would say that some of us think otherwise. Perhaps you should find a sitter for your child, and if you cannot afford a sitter, perhaps you can't afford to go out for dinner.“
“(Translated by Google) The most delicious head taco I've tried so far in Utah ♥️???? I RECOMMEND THEM A THOUSAND ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(Original)El taco de cabeza más delicioso que he probado hasta ahorita en Utah ♥️???? LOS RECOMIENDO MIL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Brenda was so nice she got me a Sope to try and OMG ? it was phenomenal, I’m from Kentucky I had never had such now I want to move to Utah just to eat Sobeys. It was delicious. She is the best you need to come and check this place out. It’s delicious.!!!!!!!!!!! Good??????“
“Love this place! I got their seafood burrito and it's excellent. The service is also amazing. I came in late, as I hadn't realized what time they closed, and the service was fast enough that I was able to eat and leave before closing, but the staff never made me feel rushed either. They were always so kind and friendly.“
“Update: we just tried a new dish yesterday that they're adding to the menu, Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas in Red Sauce! Very good and always the best service and welcome from the owners and staff! This is our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Provo and we have been regulars for years! Love the food and always have a great experience. The owners put a lot of time into making everything perfect and are often there at lunchtime.“
“This is now my FAVORITE place to get tacos in this area. I had two asada tacos and two Al pastor and they were amazing! They have all sorts of sodas, flan, cakes and alfajores! The staff was kind and my order was ready by the time I was done paying!Highly recommend!“
“My husband and I go here several times a month. We love the birria and chorizo tacos! The carne asada tacos are fantastic, too. The food is always fresh and hot; made to order; and reminds me of times in Guadalajara. If you're expecting Spanglish, go elsewhere. This place has truly great food.Parking: This is a taco truck so parking is in a gravel lot around it. Sometimes it can get a bit crowded during the lunch and dinner hours, but it is worth it.“
“La variedad de platillos tan deliciosos es muy difícil elegir solo uno , todo está súper riquísimo, yo probé el burrito cielo, mar y tierra, los tacos de tripa y me fascinaron. Las salsas picocitas y la atención del personal rapido amables y eficientes, el lugar limpio y espacioso hace que se disfrute el momento! Si tienes la oportunidad de ir no lo dudes en hacerlo!!“
“We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We wanted real authentic Mexican Food and this place did not disappoint. It is self seating when you come in your choice of sitting where ever you want. From the salsa and chips to the agua de Horchata were authentic. I got the enchiladas rojas de Camarón, the sauce is made from scratch and the shrimp had very great seasoned flavors. Rice and beans are also made fresh. For dessert we had flan ? and it was also the thick kind delicious. The ambience was very mellow with the music playing in the background loud enough to still have a conversation. The restrooms were very clean and smelling good like the clean restrooms in Mexico iykyk. The service was awesome our waitress was very friendly and nice.We will definitely come back.“
“Excellent food. Chips and salsa were amazing. Rice and beans were fantastic. I had the carne asada burrito and it was excellent. Very clean. I’m a great part of Pleasant Grove on the historic Main Street. My wife and I have been looking for a great Mexican restaurant since moving to Utah, and we finally found our place. The only thing I wish they had was music. But everything else was great. Will definitely be back.“
“Drove by while working in the area today and seen NACHO signs so as someone who loves some fresh made Nachos I had to stop and checkout the Nachos Live vibe. Oh I found a gem for anyone seeking a flavorful unique lunch in Lehi spot! ? I ordered their Papa’s plate and instantly realized I got way too much for one person. Was able to pick two meats so I went with Grilled Chicken and Al Pastor hold the sour cream and guacamole for me and this dish was HEAVY! Curious to find out how many lbs it weighed? They have a nice cozy indoor seating area to relax and enjoy your meal. Great vibes super friendly order taker and cook. You can tell this is a family business for the locals of Lehi I sure hope people support them like I did randomly today. I’ll be back because I gotta try their cheesy taco and Carne Asada Nachos ?“
“Despite not honoring the coupon app coupon, the food was amazing. I’m normally an Al Pastor guy but they had some of the best carne asada I’ve ever had. This definitely competes with Don Joaquin as one of the best Mexican place in Utah for me.“
“The quality, the seasoning of the food has changed a lot, everything was better before, apart from their prices have gone up a lot and the payment methods are a little orthodox, you have to pay cash because paying by card increases it quite a bit, something that didn't happen before, some of them. My favorite dishes were melcajete but it's just not the same anymore...“
“I love the people here! They are always so friendly and kind. The food is delicious and ample cilantro and onion always. They always throw in an extra gringa taco for me :) I love that! Maybe cos they see me weekly! Just go, you will not be disappointed with tacos or tortas or the service!“
“Unfortunately they were out of most of their salsas which would have made this food amazing. We waited for over 30 min for our food in the heat which wasn't ideal. I can't wait to go back and try other things and I'm hoping the long wait is an isolated incidence. The asada tacos were so good. We got the biria tacos because everyone loves them, but they weren't my thing.“
“Loved the salsa bar and the quesadilla was tasty. I would’ve loved for it to be warm so that knocks the food down a point. Great service and tasty food. Everyone in my group wished they got the taco combo number 2. The quesadilla I got was the only vegetarian option on the menu I think.Vegetarian options: One vegetarian option on the menu.“
“I usually get the California burritos at beto's. But the asada burrito here is the best burrito I've ever in my life... And I get the carne asada burrito like 100 times a year. You need to go here!!! No one makes food better than this place I promise you! I've also loved in many states and this place takes my heart for #1 best Mexican food.Best horchata as well!!!!!!“
“The food was decent. Pretty typical Mexican food. The service was a little difficult The cashier didn't speak English very well and my wife wasn't sure if she understood her order or not or what she ordered. The restaurant itself was really cool they had music videos and signs and very clean and classy. I did enjoy the dinosaur theme.“
“This site makes you put in an order on a screen inside unlike all other locations I've been to. It was fine just led to a problem later when my food was not completely how I typed it up. That's because at other locations they ask you what you want and you see them putting it in yes/no. They put 3 things in my salad that wasn't in my order. So instead of really reading the ticket they just made the salad as they normally do. Food tasted great and fresh and it was quick just attention to detail was lacking with this style of ordering when dining in.“
