“The Cafe Rio drive thru makes it way too easy for me to eat tacos more than a few times a week. I can zip in and out of there in just a few minutes and the food is always perfection.
I've been there so often I've actually made friends with one of the cashiers, the adorable Kaylen who I LOVE TO TIP because she is the absolute greatest person ever. She has the warmest, most fun personality and I love to joke with her, she totally brightens my day.
She has never, ever, not even one single time ever gotten my order wrong. She deserves a lot of praise for that because sometimes if I'm ordering for several people I've given her a large complicated order and every order is 100% right.
She's so great.I asked my son if he'd marry her, but he said he'd have to meet her first.
If Cafe Rio was a church I'd be an active member because I visit them religiously. The food comes from Heaven and it's made by Angels.

“This was a nice place to eat at during lunch. The line wasn’t super long and the workers were great at managing our orders and make sure we all got our means in a timely manner. The food was also delicious and fresh.

Vegetarian options: It’s build your own so you can ask for no meat which is nice.

Dietary restrictions: Has dairy products but you can asked for dishes without that.

“We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. Great food and who doesn’t love a salsa bar?! Also jalapeños and pickled onions are so good. We got a mix of items from combo plate, chimichanga, enchiladas and kids nachos. Everything is homemade and so good“

“The menu is small but amazing and beautifully presented. The food is very fresh and full of flavor. Really attentive and kind wait staff. Premium local meats and chicken and wonderful fish (offerings change). Flavor combos are excellent. Noisy. We try to eat there after the lunch crowd leaves. Closed from 3 to 5.“

“I have eaten at numerous Rancheritos but this one is our favorite, hands down. Edgar, at the front counter, will always greet you with a smile and recommendations. The food is super fresh, the refried beans are the best anywhere, and prices are very reasonable. We moved here from So Cal and are super picky about fast casual Mexican places…. Until this, We hadn’t found one in Utah we really liked and we’ve been here 8 years. This ranks up there with our favorite spots in So Cal.
I recommend anything with their Al Pastor…. It is the best. I particularly like the Al
pastor bowl and get a side of corn tortillas to make mini tacos with. My wife and her sister like their beef tacos and bean and cheese burritos. Get a side of their refried beans to
take home….. nothing beats them.
We eat here at least once a week if not more. The best!!“

The restaurant is spacious, clean and they have some freezers with Popsicles, paletas and ice cream bars and fried doraditos by the ordering station. Menu is simple but sometimes that all you need right? I got the gringa combo, which has 3 tacos (al pastor, chicken and asada) with a drink and my husband got an asada burrito with a side of rice. I also got a slice of strawberry tres leches cake which was stellar! Every single bite was lovely; everything was flavored so well and was fresh!
