“We got served by Glenda E and she was rather rude and not very friendly, not as nice as the other older ladies who serve there. Half way through dinner dhe starts vacuuming near our table like that rather gross when were trying to eat. I got the chicken fried steak I was most of the way through and I bit into a piece of plastic bread tie! Glenda mumbled a half hearted apology and took it off the bill but no management came to speak to me and apologize. Not impressed with the service or meal.“

“I had an excellent experience at Aubergine! I was served by Jean, and his service truly made all the difference. From my very first visit, I was impressed by how friendly, attentive, and welcoming he is. He does his work with happiness and ease, and he makes every guest feel valued.

The food arrived quickly and was delicious my family loved everything. There are many places with good food but poor service, and that makes me not want to return. At Aubergine, it is the opposite: the food is great, and Jean’s service is exceptional.

I always want to come back, especially because of the amazing way Jean takes care of us. Congratulations to Jean and the whole team!“

“-INITIAL REACTION- We walked in to a seat yourself sign. It was packed but we got lucky that they were wiping down a two top near the bar right as we walked in. Our server Erik was there within a minute with water, wished us a happy valentines, and told us about the specials for the night. While he grabbed our drink orders, a blackberry mule and a soda, we looked at the menu. -FOOD- My wife was already sold on the surf and turf. I was trying to decided between a burger, pasta, or pizza when the table behind us got their food and the fish and chips looked too good. We also got an order of the croquettes, we did 2 ham and cheese and 2 regular. The croquettes came out quickly and were crispy, massive, and cheesy, with two really good sauces (garlic aioli and spicy tomato) to dip. The haddock was massive and the breading was perfectly crisp, the fish was light and nicely seasoned and was perfectly complemented by the tartar sauce (which tasted fresh and I would guess is made in house but I didn't verfiy that). The Asian slaw was tangy and fresh and the chips were some of the best I've had, reat seasoning, crispy exterior and a fluffy interior, almost a midway between potato wedges and potato skins. My wife got the Surf n Turf special and it was delicious. The prime rib was in a red wine reduction sauce, the steak was cooked beautifully. The potatoes were creamy and buttery. I didn't personally try the lobster but my wife said it was amazing. -SERVICE- We were served by Erik and he did fantastic, was quick, personable, attentive, gave great recommendations, and never once did my soda reach the bottom before he was checking if I wanted a refill. Towards the end of the meal we were visited by the manager Marc to see how everything was and ended up chatting with him for a while. He got us boxes, gave tips on reheating and gave us some to go containers of the sauces. Overall the service was some of the best we've gotten in recent memory. -COST- The average plate is about $20-30 and honestly for the quality and the amount of food you get it is extremely fair imo.“

“Three of us went to this location a couple of days ago. We were warmly greeted and seated. Trish was our server and took excellent care of us.

I ordered the ham and cheese omlet with hashbrowns and pancakes. It tasted great! I would definitely order this again.

I noticed several what I assumed to be regulars arrive. Trish knew right away how they took their coffee. This said volumes to me.

For years I have driven by Deez restaurants and wondered how they have stayed in business for so long. Now I know. The food is simple and yummy. The enviornment is clean and bright. The service is exceptional.

“I’m visiting from San Diego California this is my first time in Chuck-A-Rama I like the food very much. We used to have Hometown Buffet all over California which we don’t have anymore, so the only American buffet restaurants that we have in Sacramento California are Sizzler and Golden Corral but I like Hometown Buffet better than Sizzler but I never tried Golden Corral before. My first time eating at Sizzler in California was 1992 and me and my sister and my parents came back to Sizzler many times. Also in California they started opening a new restaurant Hometown Buffet in 1995 me and my sister and my parents and my cousins and my Uncle and my Auntie were impressed we all liked the food there better than Sizzler, but later on in 2015 they closed Hometown Buffet. Back then in 1986 me and my sister and my parents went to Shoney’s when we lived in Biloxi Mississippi, Shoney’s serve Southern food. Ashley is funny.“
