“If you like Indian food, you need to go ASAP. Himalayan food is very similar to Indian food. This place has excellent food. I love how they are not stingy with the portions. The owner couldn’t have been nicer.I have been here 5 times now. I love the Chicken tikka masala and coconut kurma. Last time I tried the Chicken momos. They are like chicken dumplings. The sauce was incredible.“
“This is the perfect "hole in the wall" gem of salt lake city. The food is awesome, and the tea is fantastic. We tried the Chai and the Lemon tea, the Chai was perfect ?This place is locally owned and has authentic decor and cuisine. They have a ton of vegetarian options as well.Check this place out!Parking: There is a about 3 designated parking spaces East of Straw Market (Shambalas neighbor). Those are usually full, but the street parking is free and it's easy to find a spot.“
“Indian food that won't break the bank?! Yes please!! My 9 year old and I needed a last minute lunch option the other day and decided to stop in here. We instantly knew we had made the right choice. Everything was delicious and the portions were perfect. My son really loves noodles and the kid was literally in heaven. I caught this pic right as he was taking his first bite! Go there!! You'll love it I promise!“
“Looking for wonderful authentic Indian cuisine. You will love Bhutan House! Absolutely delicious food with a kind staff to help you make selections if you need. Curry, butter chicken, tandoori, and a must have with every meal their bread basket!“
“Everything in the buffet was quite good, and they had a decent selection. Covered the bases for me, though I would've preferred a different dahl. Just my personal preference.I particularly loved the tandoori chicken. It was so tender and moist. Not dried out at all, like is so often the case with buffets. And their goat curry was also phenomenal. Highly recommend this one for the buffet.“
“The restaurant was clean. The food was good but not great. My dining companion and I both asked for the food 5 out of 7 spicy hot but it seemed more like we got 2 or 3 level spiciness. It was not inexpensive so I doubt I'll be back but it was ok.The wait for the check at the end was unnecessarily long.“
“Everest is by far our favorite Indian restaurant near us. The saag paneer, vegetable coconut korma, Mattar paneer mushroom and bhangan bhartha is our favorite dishes. We've ordered food from there about every two months for the last 7-10 years and it's always great.“
“Himalayan Kitchen has a nice relaxing atmosphere with great food. We started off with the bread basket and assorted meat platter. Both were really good and provided great samples of breads and meats. The included sauces were also amazing. For the entrees we had the prawn curry and butter chicken. Both of these had amazing flavor and would recommend. For desserts we had the pistachio ice cream and rice pudding. The ice cream was awesome but the rice pudding was a bit underwhelming but still decent. Overall this place was great with amazing food and fast service.“
“Very good food and great staff. Leaving a review because I was behind a customer being rude to the workers but they handled it great. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars for service and food. Recommend the Tofu Chili and coconut sauce mix. Will be “
“This is seriously the best Indian food in West Valley! Do yourself a favor and hit this place up. Even the palak paneer is the best I've ever had. The mango lassi is on point too! And they have some fun, unique things like the buffalo momos that don't disappoint!“
