The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. “I've been here several times, always a treat, and have never left a review. Located in great part of town, just love 9th and 9th. The gelateria itself has just an assortment of arts and ceramics and decorations. The seating area is super cozy. Some tables and chairs and some couches - that could swallow you whole if you let them they are so squishy. The gelato is great, very creamy. I think the best gelato in Salt Lake. The serving size is great too, they usually pack it in and over the top of the cup. Thanks to the owners and workers of this shop!“

“They had a decent vegetarian/vegan selection and the omnivore I went with got a huge meat combo plate (not pictured.) The presentation of the food was great. They seemed short staffed so several people brought out food as it was ready when the server was busy. Luckily we weren't in a hurry, so the extra time (from being possibly short staffed) didn't cause stress. I would eat here again. There are a bunch of sauces on each table. Pictured is vegetarian lettuce wraps and Kung pao tofu.“

“I absolutely love Cafe Shambala and highly recommend stopping by! Every time we host family or guests visiting, we bring them to eat here. Both the lunch buffet and the dinner menu are delicious. Our favorites are the spiced potatoes, the marinated chicken, the momos, and the traditional rice pudding dessert. My husband and I have never had less than a 5-star experience, especially with the excellent service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to more clearly post a drink menu during lunch, specifically for the refreshing mango lassi and other tasty drinks available. Last time I was there, the only posting of this information was a faded printer paper taped on the outside windows.“
