Afton Mountain Vineyards Reviews
I was on a sip and savory train ride this weekend and they had wine from Afton Mountain. The blanc de blanc was super fun and bubbly but the Echoterra stole the show! I’ve also been to the vineyard and the views are stunning!
A lovely vineyard, peaceful, in a picturesque setting
We had the best time at Afton Mountain Vineyards. We had a reservation for a private tasting for 11 of us. Casey was wonderful and spent so much time with us talking about the wine and the amazing vineyard. Even the winemaker himself took time to chat with us about his process. We loved the views, the pavilion space, and the incredible tasting. Our favorite winery experience of our whole trip. The private tasting was definitely worth it.

Afton Mountain Vineyards offers a stunning setting with breathtaking grounds and a friendly staff. The winery caters well to smaller groups but may struggle with larger parties without reservations. The Tasting Room provides a pleasing atmosphere, with large areas to sit and relax, and offers stunning views of the gorgeous vineyards and beautiful outdoor pavilion, making it a great spot for photos. The wine selection is highly praised, particularly the bacco and the rosé, though some have mentioned that the wine pours could be improved. Customers have noted the glass pavilion as a nice place to sit and take in the view, and the atmosphere, especially in the pavilion, is described as wonderful. The staff is said to be very sweet, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnic food to complement the winery's selection. Overall, the location and ambiance are the highlights of the Afton Mountain Vineyards experience.
