Beautiful location and close to I-64. The Tasting Room has fantastic views and is a really pleasing space. Unfortunately, Afton charges $15 for a glass of wine and I find that pricey. Also, the sampler pack was packaged in tiny mason jars and put in a brown lunch bag, and there was no description of the winery or Wines By The hostess. Aside from the space I was not very impressed unfortunately.
Friends and I stopped here for a few minutes before reservations at another winery and we were so impressed, we wished we hadn't made the other reservations! The view is amazing and the glass Pavillion is really nice. Staff was super friendly and the wine was excellent. We are planning another trip back to Afton Mountain with more time to enjoy it all!

Love that they cater towards smaller parties. With so many options in the area, not sure why large parties come expecting to be accommodated without reservations. A large party showed up just before I left and had a bad attitude about their policy. There were multiple signs while driving in stating the policy as well as on their website.Keep the small group vibe! Loved it!
