“We stopped in after seeing the advertisement for the Christmas Vacation evening event. What a fun time with delicious drinks! The decorations are so festive and the staff were great. I had the eggnog cocktail and the Santa one. Both were delicious and I loved to optionally to buy the glasses!!!“

“Love that they cater towards smaller parties. With so many options in the area, not sure why large parties come expecting to be accommodated without reservations. A large party showed up just before I left and had a bad attitude about their policy. There were multiple signs while driving in stating the policy as well as on their website.Keep the small group vibe! Loved it!“
“We stayed at the Farmhouse at Veritas last November and enjoyed a four course wine paired dinner. Unfortunately there was a forest fire in Rockfish Gap with a resulting traffic jam that prevented us from attending "wine hour" prior to dinner. We visited the tasting room on 5 April 2025 and had the opportunity to enjoy more of this vineyard's offerings. This was the highlight of our weekend when it comes to the four vineyards visited.The tasting area here is a large two-story affair with plenty of outdoor seeting as well. We did not have a look at the food menu but did start to get hungry watching all of the food go by.Vesritas was awarded three gold medals in the 2024 Governor's cup and we enjoued them all. The two wines on the white side of the ledger are coming home with us to be enjoyed later. Highly recommended!“

In addition to an excellent tasting, we were given a first-hand explanation of how such a delicious wine is grown and how much work is involved. “We visited Hill Top for one of the stops on my bachelorette weekend trip and this was definitely the best place we visited! They were SO friendly and treated us like family, let us meet the goats and dogs, and had the best wine and mead. We’re so glad we stopped here!“

If sodas are your thing, the canned Materva Yerba Mate soda will make you think twice about your next MD soda. Tables and booths are clean. Order at the counter. “I have been to Seven Arrows multiple times over the past few years. We moved to the valley 2 years ago. The beer and food are great. But even better - the staff and facility are wonderful. I am a JMU alum and several times we have wanted a place to watch a game on the big screen while enjoying food and drinks. The staff have gone out of their way to accommodate us. We love this place! Friendly and fun - I highly recommend it.“
“We came here for a outing where my friend got engaged and got our own private area where staff was excellent and we were able to escape the heat. Views are pretty but also it feels very private and homey here which is nice. We tried every single wine including the port- we were bigger fans of the red for sure but the rose was great. The cheese sticks and popcorn they offered were nice but we brought our own food in.“

“We visited this property on Friday 5 April 2024. It's really out of the way if approaching from Afton but not so much if approaching from Charlottesville. We arrived from Afton and the last five miles were a one lane gravel road. If you remember that '70s movie Delivernace you could hear the Banjo playing.The first impression was that this is a low budget operation compared to places in Afton such as Pollak or Veritas. Don't let first impressions fool you. The money and the passion are in the wines here. If you enjoy fine wine in a non-pretentious environment then you should make the effort to find this vineyard. The server seemed far more widely travelled and knowledgeable than anyone else at the other vineyards we visited on this trip. Highly recommended,“
“Great burgers- the pimento and cheesburger were excellent. Very nice people and very comfortable to hang out awhile on a big road trip. Definitely coming back anytime near Waynesboro. Onsite brewery had really good brews; had the red IPA and the Dopplebock. Onsite food was awesome at Nobos Kitchen.“

“Looking for a good brewery, and a place to eat look no further. We did have to wait for a table, but we were seated far quicker than the expectation. This is by far the best brewery and Restaurant close to the Wintergreen resort area. The beer was absolutely fantastic and the food was incredible. I had the Philly cheesesteak, and it was by far the best one I have ever had. Also, had the Parmesan fries so delicious. The service was great and very attentive. We had Martha as our server she was fantastic!“
“Definitely my new favorite place. Location is convenient and the establishment is very clean and welcoming. You pay admission when you come in which is fairly cheap but varies based on if they have something special going on that night. Tonight it was just $5 per adult 21+. You order your food at a counter and while there was quite a wait for the food, you can tell it’s cooked fresh when you order it. It was really delicious and the sauce that comes with their fries is banging! While waiting on your food, check out their games. There’s jenga, pool, darts, air hockey, phoseball, ping pong, basketball, corn hole, and a mechanical bull, etc. It was a little chilly today but the decks have plenty of outdoor heaters to keep you warm. There’s karaoke and TVs, plenty of space to spread out, and overall just have a great experience. I’d recommend this for anyone. A great hangout for young adults like myself and even the older kids like 12+. Perfect spot for date night too! They really take care of their establishment and I’ll be back in the future ?Parking: Plenty of free parking and right beside of Zeus Theatre.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly until 9pm and then they require an adult to be present or no one under 18.“
“We had a wonderful Thanksgiving buffet at Restoration.. Our family included two families with children ages 7 and 11. Everyone found delicious dishes to enjoy. The wait staff was courteous and responsive to our needs. We will certainly return for the wonderful buffets.My husband and I have also taken out of town guests there for luncheon in the last six months several times and have not been disappointed . So nice to have a high quality restaurant here in Old Trail.Parking: Very convenient.Kid-friendliness: Kids were treated with respect..Our granddaughter who is 7 fell in love with her choice of dessert, got personal instructions on how to prepare Bananas Foster.“
“Wow. Color me impressed. I've been to a lot of breweries. This place is awesome. Nice selection of brews with some surprising flavors (try the Gringo Mole Stout, it's somethin else). But it's not your average brewery. The whole place is an old industrial complex and there are three businesses stacked together and working in concert. Basic City is the brewery, then there is the restaurant with amazing wood fired pizzas, and finally there is The Foundry which is the music venue. It's all connected inside with ample seating, and arcade, shuffle board, ping pong... MAN I was surprised. Would love to come back one day, if only I didn't like 2200 miles away.“
“Stopped here for lunch after a wonderful hike at the Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail. Not easy to spot this from the road, but fortunately we had planned ahead and wanted to come here. We were very pleased with the food and service. Would highly recommend. Only regret is that it was just a bit too cold to sit outside.“
“We went with a larger party and everyone enjoyed their meals.The angel hair pasta circles were by far the group's favorite. The greek salad and panini's were well received. The margherita pizza didn't seem to quite match the level of the rest of the meals. It wasn't bad, just not outstanding.“
