“We had the best time at Afton Mountain Vineyards. We had a reservation for a private tasting for 11 of us. Casey was wonderful and spent so much time with us talking about the wine and the amazing vineyard. Even the winemaker himself took time to chat with us about his process. We loved the views, the pavilion space, and the incredible tasting. Our favorite winery experience of our whole trip. The private tasting was definitely worth it.“
“This place was a lovely surprise! I've been to the Afton area several times over the past few years, usually on the Trolley Tour out of Crozet but we had never stopped here. My daughter and I were in the area on Mother's Day weekend and stopped here. I had no idea I like Vermouth! The Vermouth tasting was so good, we bought 2 bottles of the spring version. We also had a lovely flight of 6 wines (didn't care for one of the merlots but that's our taste not the fault of the winery). Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back and will bring friends!“
“Fine wines in a very friendly and laid back environment. We’ve probably driven by this place a half dozen times over as many years without stopping. This vineyard took the top honor in the 2026 Virginia Governor’s Cup and we now wish that we had stopped in sooner. We would definitely go again.“
“We've been there several times and truly enjoy the winery. Did tastings back in 2015 and just fell in love with their Quattro wine. The lication is ideal, quiet, serene and so relaxing. They do have live music, but we haven't been there to experience. We highly recommend this winery...you won't be disappointed. Staff, lication, ambiance, and quality of wines are outstanding!“

“I’ve been twice and both times were better than any music festival I’ve been to. Very well organized and ran. The camping is phenomenal that time of year in that part of the country. They take it a step beyond with the amenities and cleanliness they provide. I’ve already purchased mine and my wife’s tickets and campsite for this year!!“

“Bold Rock Cider is such a beautiful, family-friendly spot! 🍎🌿 The views are absolutely gorgeous, and there’s so much open space for kids to run around and enjoy themselves. There’s also a river right there, which makes the whole place feel even more relaxing and scenic. 🏞
