“DO NOT miss the Smoked Kitchen. During a recent "leaf peeping" drive from Richmond, we visited Crozet in time for lunch. First, the location is easy to find and easy to park. Second, they welcome dogs. (A real plus.) But MOST IMPORTANTLY the the food is top notch and the service can't be beat. The pulled pork is the best we've EVER eaten. (I don't use CAPS very often.) Speaking as Virginia/North Carolina customers, that's quite a statement. It's dry, lean and melt in your mouth. Plenty of sauces to choose from if you wish. Absolutely terrific. We bought A POUND to take home. No kidding. The smoked chicken salad sandwich was excellent. And the beer - well, what a nice addition to a great meal.“

“Hands down the best catfish I have ever had. The BBQ was great. The mac and cheese was the closest to homemade I have ever had. And Jamie was fantastic! So glad we drove down here to celebrate!“

“OMG this little hole in the wall was amazing. So glad we stopped for lunch. The portions were enough that we had leftovers for dinner.
Edit: 3rd visit, still just as good. We stopped to pick up food to eat once we get home to NC. This place never disappoints.“
