RT's Restaurant is a hidden gem that never disappoints. The food is excellent, with options like red beans and rice with crawfish, stuffed shrimp, crab-cake platter, and shrimp and grits. The all-lump crabcakes have very little filler and large chunks of crab. Appetizers like the calamari and the crawfish and shrimp beignets are also excellent. The desserts, including coconut cake, bread pudding, key lime pie, pecan pie, and strawberry rhubarb pie, are all delicious. The atmosphere is a welcoming family restaurant feel with patriotic decorations. The service is excellent and attentive. Despite parking challenges, this place is a go-to for locals and visitors alike, offering a taste of home with every visit.
