“I really love this place. It was my first time stopping after passing it several times and thinking to myself, 'I really have to stop there.' That seems to happen a lot down this way. I stopped in with my son and was worried when I saw everyone eating ice cream because I thought that it was just an ice cream parlor. It turns out everything is amazing here. It has elements of a classic southern market, like hot comfort food by the container and kind personal service. There's a whole menu to consider of sandwiches and sides. Great sides, too, like fried pickles, hush puppies, and batter dipped onion rings. I got a single bacon cheeseburger, which could not have been fresher. The onion rings on the side were flaky, soft, and perfectly cooked. I can NOT wait to get back here for breakfast. I had a nice conversation at the counter with a few people. A crowd sat outside enjoying ice cream and community. Kind, helpful service. Highly recommended, thoroughly encouraged.“

“There was a line it moved pretty fast, the lady surprised me at how fast she made the ice cream cone for my dad & Banana split for myself. Only con could be due to the hot weather, my banana split was so melted I had to use a straw & a spoon to eat it. It leaked all over me and the car. If you order the banana split I suggest bringing your own bowl or eating it at one of the tables in front of the sweet spot.“
