“OMG! Their Gelato is so good! I got their brownie sundae with peanut butter Gelato (pictured). The warm brownie was thick and rich, and the fresh whipped cream was light and sweet. It was all tied together with their delicious hot fudge! My wife got their Black Forrest Gelato (chocolate with cherries and dark chocolate ganache). The Gelato is so fresh and creamy, yum!The staff were very friendly and they let us sample a few flavors so that we could decide what we wanted. The Banana Split Company is a great place to stop for a sweet treat!“
“Love this place my only complaint is they dont take orders by number or name and when they call an item you have to figure out if its yours or not. (Accidentally skipped someone and took their brownie sundae) they had to wait an extra 8-10mins for their order.“
“We went through the drive through, so really couldn’t rate atmosphere. Yhe ice cream wa stick and creamy. Absolutely delicious! The most exciting thing for me was the peppermint ice cream - it was amazing - and it was early October, so that was earlier than most places carry peppermint. What a treat!“
“We saw Banana Pudding Milkshake on the sign and who could resist? It was so delicious, thick, creamy, and even had little crunchies of vanilla wafers. Their straws are extra large which makes drinking them alot easier. We drank them sitting in the car on this beautiful day and saw several friends pull in. Staunton is a great place to live that still has that hometown feeling where you can get some ice cream and chat with friends.“
“I had a fantastic time here at this restaurant where a waitress doesn't come to your table and you pick up a phone and order on that phone at your table then they will come serve it to you and you can even pull up outside and they will bring your food out to you like they did back in the old days. It is located in Stanton, Virginia and you should check it out.“

“Sweet Scoops Ice Cream is a very sweet and delicious little dessert spot. The creamery is locally owned by a couple that have between the two of them, West and Livonia they have a lot of business and diary experience and their educational careers and business ethic reflect that. As a fellow alma mater Cougar - (04') I love and suggest the Cougar Pride sundae, it's heavenly. There is nice amount of parking and believe they have both indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting). The menu is fantastic not only do they have sundaes, milkshakes but also Butter Beer and various other specialty items. If you love and wanna take it home, you can buy a pint or quart of your choosing!! They also have some cute scoop swag.“
