Underdog Coffee and Bread Annandale offers solid drinks and food in a lively, dog friendly atmosphere. The drinks are the star of the show with pistachio latte (iced) and pistachio cream cold brew both decadent. Breakfast options include Miguel’s Grocery Burrito, crogel, croissant sandwiches, sausage egg and cheese croissant and bacon egg and cheese croissant. The iced ube matcha latte and hot honey cinnamon latte are also very good. Service is good and seating can be scarce indoors when busy, but there is an outdoor patio for a hot day. The cafe is cute, relaxing and inviting, great for a quick drink or bite to go, study or chat. House mayo aioli on the sandwiches adds very good.
