“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. Wait staff and servers are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and not obtrusive. Don’t miss the nice selection of creative cocktails, wine variety and desserts. Continued success and best wishes for this popular bistro!“

“Delicious Greek food! Really good dips and toppings to add on bowls, best tzatziki and hummus I have had. The chicken is very tasty. Great variety of Greek desserts. Perfect location with parking and close to metro. Good food / good price. Nice and welcoming staff. 😀“

“Astor, we are so glad that you have reopened! We have missed you greatly and wish you nothing but the utmost success!!
Though Arlington offers an abundance of dining options, this place stands apart, and I can confidently say that you cannot go wrong here. We have tried the lamb shank with rice, chicken shawarma, chicken brochette, falafel pita with fires and the hummus. Everything is fresh and delicious. Try it for yourself, and you will quickly understand why the reviews are so glowing. Astor, you have earned every bit of praise and more!!“

“Three of us enjoyed a pre-theater dinner. We chose to feast on appetizers and they were very good. The ambiance is nice, however the noise level is high. Open Table calls it "Energetic" but it was pretty loud. Since we were in a booth we were able to talk comfortably. I would definitely recommend Our Mom Eugenia's“
