“Extremely convenient on top of the C gates.
The lounge is a little dated but has a number of seating options and plenty of outlets. Also a small desk area.

Found the crew staffing the lounge always friendly and helpful.

Food is the usual you'll find at all the lounges.
I would be a great improvement of feel if the silverware and cups were not plastic and cardboard.“

“I wasn't quite sure how well the food would be with the mixed reviews so I was surprisingly happy that all our food was delicious (we were a party of 7 so many dishes). The view was exceptional and the portions pretty good. We went to the one in San Antonio over the summer and not everything is big in Texas. Much smaller servings. Our waiter was very good. I was a little disappointed when my elderly father's jacket fell on the floor and no one informed us even though many staff were walking past it. It was a minor annoyance but would have been nice for someone to let us know.“

From the hostess's accommodation of our late arrival, friendly greeting, and front door coat check to our waiter’s, Elmer, and wait staff’s attentive service throughout our visit, Cranes was superb! As fans of Persian cuisine and frequent shoppers at Yekta Market in Rockville— having recently tried our hand at making Persian dishes like Fesenjan at home— coupled with all of the culinary accolades— we had high expectations for JOON. It not only met but exceeded them. Mast-o Musir, yogurt dish with Persian dried shallot and rose petal, was exceptional— more elevated and nuanced than any we’ve had. The mushroom Khoresht stew with white truffle was another highlight, offering perfectly balanced flavors something hard to do with white truffles and a satisfying richness, complemented by the perfectly crunchy Tahdig, iconic golden rice crust. The braised lamb shoulder which Yacine suggested was the undeniable highlight of the meal I which each dish was excellent. Tender and flavorful, it was paired beautifully with texture. It’s a signature dish that rivals the best we’ve ever had, bringing to mind the legendary Bo Ssam pork shoulder from David Chang’s Momofuku— bold, unforgettable, and expertly prepared. The Gormeh Sabzi, short rib stew with its delicious sour depth, was excellent but couldn’t quite match the lamb’s showstopping brilliance. Two very minor points. While the food and service are exceptional, the main dining room lighting would benefit from dimming. A water filtration water system could make a big difference as well. JOON has firmly secured its place as a must-visit dining destination for us. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.“

“The Evening Star is a jewel of a neighborhood restaurant, with delicious offerings. You can choose to sit inside where it is lively and festive, sit outside on the Front Porch, which allows you to take in the vibe and thrum of Del Ray, or in the back where you can dine outside as if you were grilling at home. The menu changes seasonally and the bar is skillful and inventive with their offerings. Our server was excellent. He was knowledgeable, attentive without hovering and well-versed in the menu and wine and beer selections. We couldn't have asked for a more lovely evening out.“

“This was my first time and I went with a friend of mine visiting from Philly. We went for brunch or early lunch. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Food arrived fast and tasted absolutely delicious. I had the seared shrimp tacos, moist and tasty-yum, my friend had the market fish sandwich for that day, he absolutely loved it and he doesn't usually eat fish lol.“

Loved the location, close to walking to about anywhere.
Rooms where clean, a bit small. Smaller than I expected them to be but comfortable otherwise. Staff was great and every friendly.
We are breakfast a few times during our stay.
Was anxious to do so due to having to eat from the GF menu and breakfast items can be not much of an option at most places.
After speaking to the manager at the restaurant, cafe Riggs, I was put at ease as he went through the whole menu and told me what would be and what would not be and explained why.
I have to say it was the best eggs I've had in a long time and I was not expecting that I could actually eat gluten-free toast without worrying about cross contamination.
My husband had the breakfast sandwich and loved everything.

“We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at 219. The window seat they reserved for us was great! The food was delicious, especially the she crab soup and shrimp and grits. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. All in all a great experience and we will be back!“

“I recently dined at Space DC Restaurant & Lounge, and I must say their exceptional customer care truly stood out. As someone with a severe allergy, dining out can often be a stressful experience. However, the staff at Space went above and beyond to ensure my meal was not only safe but thoroughly enjoyable.

Upon informing the bartender, Josue Vasquez, about my allergy, he immediately reassured me and took detailed notes to communicate with the chef, Marcel Che, and Sous Chef, James Jones. What really impressed me was their proactive approach: Chef Che personally came out to discuss my dietary restrictions and preferences. On hand, there was not such an enhancement for my dish so they crafted a special dipping sauce on the spot, ensuring it was free from any allergens and tailored to my taste.

The attention to detail and genuine concern for my well-being made the entire dining experience incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The food was delicious, and knowing that it was prepared with such care made it even more enjoyable. Sooooo great!!!!! Has only improved since we had to move. New setup is incredible and drinks have surpassed the original menus leaps and bounds! GO HERE!

Sets the bar by which we measure all cocktails. Never disappointed, each menu always multiple amazing options. I can count on my hands the number of times i have got a cocktail someplace else and NOT been totally disappointed in comparison.

Ambience is brilliant, lively but not too loyd. Brilliant date night. Service is always wonderful and light bites are incredible.

Brussel sprouts are the best around and the pork belly is beyond amazing.“

“The location is at the end of King Street along the Potomac River....the surrounding area was very busy and active since they closed down the last 2blocks of King Street which creates a great pedestrian area as you approach the restaurant. We had a table in the outdoor covered dining area that was very nice and overlooking the water. They have outdoor heaters for cooler weather. The oysters were great as were the crab balls and crab dip appetizers. I had the fish special that was Florida Grouper over a bed of veggies that was outstanding!! Great experience and not too pricey..... Lastly, our server SOFIA was fantastic and attentive! Highly recommend!!“

“I've been to SOST a few times over the last few months. I love it. The food is delicious and the staff are really top tier. They all have a great demeanor and offer a great environment. There is always something nice to enjoy at SOST, whether it be love music, a cafe vibe, or a community event.

Some friends and I went today for brunch. All though the menu was a bit limited, we all ordered 3 different things and we all enjoyed it. Our server was a great sport by listening to us ask why there weren't any breads or carbs on the menu and Saim was very accommodating when spoke with him as well. He gave us a full tour of the restaurant and it was just a great time right before the Brunch and Go Home event began.“

We had lamb shish kabob and trout stuffed with spinach and both were perfectly done. We ate on the patio at 8 pm and had no issues with mosquitoes mentioned in another review. The place was full and lively but not too loud and we had no wait. Just felt right in every sense. We ended up buying a house a few blocks away and expect to be regulars here.“
