“We just stopped here for lunch on our way to the Outer Banks and everything was SOOOOOO GOOD!!! We got the 8 piece box and the chicken was made to order and perfectly crispy, juicy and HOT out of the oil!!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned! We also got an order of fries and they were a surprise hot!!! SUPER crispy and hot and fresh!!! We asked the chef what made them so crispy and he said it’s a secret!!! SO GOOD!!! Right on Route 13 so easy on and off!!! There are a couple of picnic tables to sit and eat! Worth the stop!!!”

“Our first time to Chincoteague and camping at Yogi. My husband was told we had to try Capt Zach’s well let’s just say we were not disappointed one bit. The freshest seafood I have had in along time. Our Waitress Valerie was very nice and attentive. If you go just know to go early. You will have a slight wait but you won’t be disappointed for sure. 10/10 will be back and it will be worth the 2 hr drive.”

“This place isn’t a restaurant per se. It’s more of a market. It looks like nothing from the outside. The seating is a couple of picnic benches under a shelter. And the food tastes like your Latina Grandma made it, were you lucky enough to have one. Fantastic and well worth the stop!”

“We spent the weekend in Chincoteague for our 65th anniversary. On Saturday we ate lunch and dinner at Bill's. My husband had oysters for lunch and flounder for dinner and was pleased with both selections. I had shrimp for lunch and the fried seafood platter for dinner. They shrimp for both meals were very small and did not have a lot of taste. The clam chowder that was included with my dinner was delicious. The rest of the seafood was average. For sides we had the Granny Smith apple cold slaw and red mashed potatoes with cheddar and hamhocks. Both were absolutely scrumptious. Our cocktails were great, as was the service! We made reservations for dinner. The restaurant filled up quickly but there seemed to be adequate staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We would go back again.”

“Sign in parking lot does not look very professional and does not really explain what the place is so I Google searched and it looked pretty good. Parking is sufficient. Fairly easy to determine where to enter. Music was a little loud. Trying to order was very confusing. There area a ton of choices but no headings for anything so I didn't know what I was looking at. A heading for the shakes would have been good . There are then a ton of choices. Probably more than needed. There are no descriptions so if it's not explicit in the name, not sure what's in it. I purchased a "tea". From what I saw online, I knew they had them, but couldn't figure out which sign listed the options as again no title and didn't seem well organized. They had some seasonal ones which was nice, however again no descriptions so I had no idea what I what anything was. There were two younger kids in there-I'm guessing the owner's kids- who were trying to help, unfortunately they didn't know what was in the drinks either. There was a hand written list for them to reference, but they were struggling so I borrowed it and read them myself. Some of the words were in Spanish, but fortunately I've had a few years of education on that so I frequently knew what I was reading. The drink is good, but the 4 star instead of 5 is really in relation to the atmosphere and some things they need to work on to get the place more functional for patrons.
