“After a long drive, this place was a GODSEND! Delicious food! We are northerners so imagine our surprise when fresh-baked cornbread was delivered to our table!

Cream of Crab soup was delicious.
I had the chicken parm sub and added mushrooms. So affordable and tastey, and you could tell they bread the chicken in house.
My mom ordered the chicken and dumplings- she said it was good with homemade noodles!
Portions were big and we ended up taking them with us!

Overall, such a pleasant experience, and that’s not even touching on the fact that our waiter was so attentive and kind! We bonded over our shared love of kitty cats too haha! Thank you Steve!!!

“My wife and I had a great time at Mallards Restaurant. It was are first time here. We both were celebrating our 26th anniversary. Our waitress Cheyanne was great. She made us feel at home. Great job to the cooks in the kitchen. My wife had Mahi Mahi with coconut rice and green beans and I had linguine and clams. Thank you”

“The menu offers different Latin types of food. I grew up with a distinct Cuban preference. While I’m really enjoying being able to have that at Havana 13, I also get to try Puerto Rican & Dominican cuisine’s. For those in your party simply not adventurous there are some good North American options as well. They also have a nice bar. The perfect place to go with get a couple Crushes to cool down with. I have a number of favorites now but I love their loaded tostones app. I often get it as a lunch. Any of their skewers are good. But for a dinner I love the “Traditional Cuban” which is braised beef with rice and black beans on the side. A couple fried plantain usually accompanied. Yummy!”

“Driving down to the Outer Banks. Stopped for lunch at Johnny’s after reading some reviews about juicy chicken. It did not disappoint! All of the pieces were great but I think that was the juiciest chicken breast I have ever eaten! And the batter dipped fries were hot and delicious also.”

“Scoops is now serving delicious sandwiches in addition to the ice cream. And they also have candy, including fudge, and homemade sides to go with the sandwiches. The sandwiches are really good, you get plenty of food and the prices are very reasonable. The sundaes with chocolate syrup, wet walnuts, whipped cream and a cherry are wonderful. The ice tea is the best around, although I prefer unsweetened, and it isn't watered down like that you get from crummy places like McDonalds!”
