“We stayed two nights at the Red Fox Inn while celebrating our 46th Wedding Anniversary. The Orange County room in the original historic building was cozy, spacious and well-appointed. The bed was really comfortable and the sitting room was perfect for sipping champagne and wine at night or enjoying the box breakfast and coffee in the morning. We were not disappointed with our room selection for our stay in Middleburg. Our stay was wonderful and a memorable experience. The tavern bar is also small and cozy but does not open until 4:30 PM. Only one disappointment was that The Tavern Inn no longer offers lunch and their dinners are limited to a rather pricey $125 per person 4-course meal offering since the ala carte menu was discontinued a while back. Without the ability to choose from a wider and more reasonably priced menu selection, we chose to eat elsewhere in Middleburg during our stay.“

“Looking for a great breakfast / lunch / dinner spot? Look no frother than the Purcellville Pub. Driving through the area around lunch time and saw a review about the Fish & Chips and had to stop and verify. And no doubt - great crispy Fish & Chips. 2 large filets with basket of fries. I was really, really good. We also tried the Barrel Burger and the BBQ sauce with crispy bacon and fried onions was very good as well. We left full bummed it’s a location we might only get to once. So glad we did.“

The Cuban sandwich (always get the fries which are seasoned) and BLT are great, but the grilled cheese is also amazing. I usually order in person but it’s really easy to place orders over the phone too.“

The host Alley proceeds to sit us down to eat. The owner yells that they close the kitchen at 830PM. He doesn't look at us as guest or acknowledge us but instead tells Alley the stop at 830pm. I asked if he was the manager he said he was the owner. It really shows n this situation how the owner handles himself. If you could get a zero star he would get it. With over 500 reviews I rarely give a 1 star but this year it goes to the owner of this restaurant. My fair and honest reviews speak for themselves. As a business owner myself in the service industry as well as I use to own 4 food franchises owners should realize their word and communication is the most valuable asset. “Yeah, it's a gas station and mini-mart, but much better than most! Huge food and drink selection, and I never thought I'd be trusting enough to buy fried fish from a gas station restaurant, but it's REALLY good and once you try it you'll go back.“

“Stopped by The Local Cut in Purcellville for an early Saturday dinner after a day out and had a great experience! We were seated right away. I had Tony’s Bolognese but the real star was the double Smash Burger—so good I’ll be ordering it next time. Highly recommend!“

“We arrived at the Red Horse Tavern when outside patio seating was crowded with a 45-minute wait but inside we were greeted by a young man and given our choice of three tables in a small room to the right. We were waited on very quickly for drinks and food arrived timely. I couldn't believe how good the Irish burger and salad was, and my wife's Salmon was excellent. Our friends raved about their burgers with sweet potato and regular fries. Great servers made the whole experience relaxing. We felt special even though the room was full within ten minutes when we sat down. We definitely will return, and the prices are fantastic!“

“We have started a 'best wings in Loudoun' journey recently and Coaches Corner has definitely made the top 5 list. To start, the wings are a good size and the way they cook them is how you want wings to be cooked. You can order 1lbs or 2lbs portions and fried is of course how you will order them (if you order wings that are grilled, you need to go crawl into a hole somewhere and stay there for eternity...bye). Let's talk texture: semi-crispy on the outside and moist, tender, meat on the inside. Perfection. A myriad of tantalizing sauce flavors are available for your choosing. The 'hot' and 'honey bbq' are both great choices and the right amount of sauce is applied to the wings post fry. You will find a great mix of flats and drums when you open the crinkly styrofoam container - would it be possible to order all flats or all drums? Who knows. Try it and get back to me. By the way, it looks like they are open until 2am on the weekend. Wowwee, that's good to know. Who stays open until 2am anymore? More bars and restaurants need to stay open until 2am. “Top notch! is not the first time I have been to the Gold Cup but every time leaves wanting to come back over and over again. The food is exquisit, the service is an A+ and of course the atmosphere is great. We asked about the kitchen staff because the sushi was so good. Javier Alvarado within the chef team had a hand in it so I needed to congratulate him. And Samuel was a great server, so attentive, fast and courteous. I hope to see them again at the Gold Cup.“

I really love wings and have had many at many different places, but this was BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! I was being very particular as always, and I wanted something that wasn’t quite on the menu, Ramon was so kind as to really help to get a VERY SPECIFIC flavor that suited me perfectly. I couldn’t believe how quickly and smoothly he received what I said and made something happen. It made for a unique and special experience! This guy deserves a medal!? A raise!?
