“First time visiting in a few years and even better than we remembered. Wonderfully decorated and comfortable tasting room to enjoy the views and live music. The Make Me Blush sangria is one of the best sangrias I’ve had…definitely recommend getting it and trying all in the sangria flight. Took home a bottle of Chardonnay after also enjoying a white flight.

“My sister was in town for the weekend and we decided to go the Bear Chase. It happened to be Father’s Day. Boy this place was packed! But the music was good, the craft beer was great (we tried the Honey Badger), and the staff was friendly and helpful despite being crazy busy. It was the best part of our day.“

“Oh red fox inn. I really do like this place! I have stayed here many times and a few things they could improve upon, but will focus on one:

- the breakfast! It’s is tasteless. No condiments come with a sandwich that you’d think would be delicious but has no flavor. Fat free yogurt for the parfait. Before covid, they would do breakfast for guests for free in a nice sit down fashion. Can we bring that back? Or, if not, re-do breakfast program with new items. This sandwich has been the mainstay for years. Give salt & pepper too please, ketchup & mayo? We also got the “casserole” (I’m not sure if I’d call it that). It was just okay. Again, some new options and some condiments with delivery if they are going to stick with that.“

“I have heard how delicious the Pub food is so I decided to stop by for some takeout. Upon my arrival, I was greeted immediately & placed my order. The food did not disappoint! I ordered a reuben sandwich with fries which arrived within 15 minutes. It was delicious! While I was waiting for my food, I noticed a good sized area for outdoor dining as well as indoor seating. A group of 4 came in behind me & was seated immediately - I overheard their immediate comment that the music was too loud. I could see that having a quiet conversation might be difficult especially as the place gets busier. If you're looking for delicious food & friendly service, I would definitely recommend!“

It's (October November), Peach season and the locally famous Virginia & West Virginia Peaches are used to achieve the best Peach pies (if the have not already sold out).“

“Fun, comfortable place to stop in for a tasting with their knowledgable staff -- try everything, even if you don't think you like whiskey or gin. Everything is very drinkable (especially the Honey Hot Whiskey) and we always end up bringing a few bottles home.“

“Wow for starters my husband got loaded steak fries and where I’m from it’s steakums nooo this was actual steak on fries it was so good I ate some of his plus what I ordered I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich and fries it was so good . “Love this brewery! The beers are always interesting, delicious and they have a ton of options. You cannot beat the atmosphere inside with great tunes, cozy couches, and plenty of bar height tables and stools. Pack a picnic and enjoy the outdoor seating while sampling your favorites or trying something new, like one of the summer slushies. (omg! so good) This is a great spot for a meet up, hang out, or a party bus stop.

It's important to note, their excellent beer is only topped by the quality of people who work here. They share so much information about the beers and you can tell they really care about their customers experience, the beverages they produce, and creating a welcoming space for all beer lovers.

It's a good thing they arent open super late or we would spend a lot more evenings here. The To Go Menu makes it really easy to bring their tasty brews home too!

Had two different flights and we enjoy the Chere Marie white wine which is similar to Reislings. It has live singer too, overall a fun day with awesome weather.“

“We arrived at the Red Horse Tavern when outside patio seating was crowded with a 45-minute wait but inside we were greeted by a young man and given our choice of three tables in a small room to the right. We were waited on very quickly for drinks and food arrived timely. I couldn't believe how good the Irish burger and salad was, and my wife's Salmon was excellent. Our friends raved about their burgers with sweet potato and regular fries. Great servers made the whole experience relaxing. We felt special even though the room was full within ten minutes when we sat down. We definitely will return, and the prices are fantastic!“

“Hunter's Head Tavern was amazing! I went to celebrate my birthday and loved the English Pub vibes in the restaurant. The staff were extremely courteous and accommodating, the food was HOT, seasoned well, and just overall delicious. Bonus points for using locally sourced ingredients when able. “I cannot explain how much of an amazing experience I had tonight at velocity. I have never had better wings in my life! Seriously! I really love wings and have had many at many different places, but this was BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! I was being very particular as always, and I wanted something that wasn’t quite on the menu, Ramon was so kind as to really help to get a VERY SPECIFIC flavor that suited me perfectly. I couldn’t believe how quickly and smoothly he received what I said and made something happen. It made for a unique and special experience! This guy deserves a medal!? A raise!? Idk you tell me but he absolutely deserves some recognition because I will never forget this first impression! Impressive service all around. The ladies that server us, kind, sweet, and lovely to speak with, the atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the drinks as well! I got a Margarita and a bloody mary which I asked to be made spicy as well! And they delivered on that too! This place is epic. I couldn’t recommend it enough... Wow..“
