“You can tell when you drive up to a place if the food is good by how busy the parking lot is. Sure was busy, but a few minute wait just allowed us to fall in love with the quaint interior of this Cafe. The food was as good as the wait staff! Would definitely plan to eat here again, to try the breakfast menu! The exterior porch all decorated for Christmas just added to the charm!“

“Wow for starters my husband got loaded steak fries and where I’m from it’s steakums nooo this was actual steak on fries it was so good I ate some of his plus what I ordered I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich and fries it was so good . The lady was very friendly and the wait wasn’t long we definitely will be back .“

“We visited because they were part of the Loudoun Heights Holiday Ornament Trail * stop 5 for us! Saturday they were also hosting The Charles Washington Symphony so they were VERY busy! The Symphony required reservations, which we did not have, though we were lucky to get 2 seats by a barrel table.
Staff at the front counter were friendly. Wines were nice. I liked the way the flight was served!
Tasting room is pretty large and there is a lot of outdoor space as well.
We hope to stop back again

“Old 690 is definitely hard to find, but most definitely harder to leave! Great everything! Beer, food, friendly staff, ambiance, easy going atmosphere, you name it! We don't get there often enough since we live 90 minutes away but everyone go! You'll be glad you did. Looking forward to Wicked Old Lady Pumpkin Beer like we do every fall!“

The atmosphere is great, the service got 4 stars, not our server's fault, but the kitchen was a bit backed up, so our main course took a bit to come, but loved my caesar salad, filet and sides. The 8oz. filet is quite large and filling so next time i will split it with someone. Our server was also very attentive. All in all a good night out!“

“Love the bar and the bartender Lisa is awesome and on top of everything. I've got 2 beef items off the menu and the beef is weirdly chewy. The sushi is pretty good though and I've had a few different rolls. The chili basil is not made or taste like traditional chili basil is far off from the normal Thai recipe but I look forward to trying other dishes in the near future.“

“Great food that is reasonably priced and friendly helpful staff. My only down side is when having brunch on Sunday at 12 it was so busy the noise level made it hard to have a conversation. But it's a great place for breakfast (and we are there on 4 weekdays as a consequence). So yes it's worth a visit but possibly avoid Sunday as it is a very noisy day.“
