It's McDonald's, it's exactly what you expect. Informal fast food place. One time the wait in the drive thru was 35 mins but usually only 5-10 mins start to finish when arriving.
I was ok but no one was wiping the tables down

McDonald's is a modern and clean restaurant with friendly staff. They offer a variety of branded meals, including signature fries, Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, and Chicken McNuggets. While service can be slow at times, the staff follows current Covid guidelines.
This McDonald's location near Cape Charles lives up to the chain's expectations - it's a perfectly average McDonald's, which for some, is exactly what they're looking for. The pros are clear: it's consistent, it's fast (most of the time), and it's affordable. The drive-thru is usually efficient, and the indoor dining area is kept reasonably clean. You'll find all the standard McDonald's menu items, and for the most part, they're prepared as expected.
The food quality, while consistent with the chain, isn't going to blow your mind - it's fast food. This McDonald's serves its purpose as a reliable option for a quick bite when you're in the area and craving that classic McDonald's taste. It's not going to win any culinary awards, but it gets the job done when hunger strikes and you're looking for something familiar and convenient.
