“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mazar Afghan Restaurant in Virginia! The food was amazing—fresh, delicious, and full of authentic Afghan flavor. Everything we tried was excellent, and you can really taste the care and quality in the food.

A special thank you to the young lady who served us. She was incredibly kind, respectful, friendly, and welcoming. Her service made our visit even more enjoyable. Everyone at the restaurant treated us with great respect and made us feel comfortable and welcomed.

It is not easy to find a restaurant where both the food and the customer service are this good. We truly enjoyed our time at Mazar and will definitely come back again with our family.

Highly recommended to anyone who loves authentic Afghan food, warm hospitality, and excellent service. Thank you, Mazar, for a wonderful experience! ❤🇦🇫“

“Had a main dish for lunch the other day, and two small plates for dinner later in the week. Absolutely fantastic food. Tasty, unique, with an abundance of interesting Menu options to explore. And the proportions are very sizable. Highly recommended!“

“Was craving middle Eastern food and this cured everything I was craving!! Amazing prices too. The guy at the front (I think his name was Ahmed or Ohmed?) was very friendly and gave great recommendations. Super super helpful and they got a new customer. The spinach was so peak and paired perfectly with the rice. The chickpeas were perfectly seasoned and so so delicious. Ahmed recommended to mix the white and green sauce, it’s a must try. Perfectly cooked and spiced chicken. I never leave reviews but this place blew my mind. Don’t think twice and just go get it.“

“This is the best restaurant in NOVA! The food is always delicious and they are so nice. Their kebab platters are awesome.“

“I’ve been to Reston Kabob several times over the years. I will say that their consistency doesn’t disappoint. I most recently ordered a catering order. I had so many people tell me that they loved the food and thanks for making that choice. Needless to say, a catering order will be happening again. More than just the food, the staff were extremely patient over the phone. Sincerely appreciate the service and quality.“

“We love ordering their family meal. It easily feeds four for a full meal and more. Quick, high quality, delicious, and healthy. We’re regulars!“
