“Relaxed, understated atmosphere. Attentive wait help. Delicious food. The select sushi pieces on the Sushi dinner had generous cuts of fish. Chinese and Japanese bottles beers and other adult beverages are available. The place is clean and nicely decorated.“

“Great sushi itamaes (chefs) here that really have great presentations and attention to detail! Waiters and staff are super nice and attentive. If your nice to them they will sometimes bring you free samples of ice cream and spring rolls! Owner is super nice and cares about her staff and customers!“

“Seriously, this spot is a winner! The food is always piping hot and tastes amazing. I also love how quickly I can usually grab my order. There's rarely any waiting around, which is a huge plus. Definitely one of my go-to places for a great meal.“

“The food was really good and I had the hibachi steak and veggies and fried rice. The decor is old so don’t go if you’re trying to have a fancy date. They had amazing service and the chef did an awesome job! The downside is they don’t have noodles. At least that’s what the lady told me who took the order, that since they bought it a year ago they don’t have noodles, so that was disappointing bc noodles are my favorite part of the dish and their menus say they have noodles. They also dont have clear soup, just the miso and their vegetables are lame. Just cabbage and a few slices of carrots and that’s it. No zucchini no squash no mushrooms, they actually don’t have mushrooms there he said so I’m not sure but what food we did get was pretty good. I’d go back if someone asked me to go there but I wouldn’t go there on my own accord, but again just bc some of my favorite stuff they don’t seem to serve. We did go on a Wednesday morning when they first opened up for the day.“

“Daikichi has been the most consistently excellent sushi spot for over 20 years. Hiro, the owner, personally selects and prepares fish daily. For an authentic and delicious experience you must go to Daikichi. My personal favorites are the spicy cucumber salad, calamari roll and Daikichi roll but dont take my word for it, 食う!!“

“Went here over the weekend with some friends as we were looking for a new sushi place to try that central for all of us. This is an absolute hidden gem. Everything we tried was amazing and had perfect texture and flavors. One of very few places that I've been to that I ignored my soy sauce, as everything was absolutely perfectly flavored. Will absolutely be back 10 out of 10“

“it was overall… okay. their prices have gone up significantly in the last 5 years (inflation ugh). the service was great, atmosphere was warm, inviting, and everything you’d want from a sushi restaurant. however, i went for lunch (wednesday afternoon, it was very slow, only two other tables being served) and you can only get about 1/2 the menu as most of the menu was dinner only. so no kani salad or sashimi was being served around the time i went, also some chefs specials rolls i wanted to try weren’t available. they were dinner only. if you’re familiar with sushi king, kagura portions are about 1/2 the size of sushi king’s rolls. i personally enjoy that. the food itself tasted alright, but i’m still open to trying new places around the area. but again; they do have great service.“
