“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“If you are gluten intolerant this may be the beer for you. I have been gluten intolerant for 13 years now. I used to enjoy a beer here and there. Some of the gluten free ones out there are eh, at best. This beer has a full body taste. I did not have any issues drinking it. Now, that being said if you are gluten intolerant you must know yourself really well. It may not be for you, but than again it may. I am just excited that I had no issues and enjoyed a full tasting beer!“

“Came for dessert after dinner at the plaza next door, and we got the Red Bean Bingsoo. Love that they use shaved milk, and not shaved ice 🥹 it is on the pricier end for the amount of bingsoo you get (the V-shaped bowl is slightly deceptive), but every bite was worth it.

Saw that there was a self-serve ramen bar, so I’d definitely come back here with friends next time!“

“I am disappointed to find out that it seems that Farm Brew Live is phasing out Country Music Acts. I think it is important that we keep a variety some of these Country Music artists are absolutely amazing. To name a few Melissa Quinn Fox, Sela Campbell, and many more. I think eliminating does not do this venue justice. Plenty room for all Music. I love variety. please reconsider.“

“This was my first time at Nathan’s Dairy Bar. I got the hot apples with pumpkin pie and graham cracker twist soft serve ice cream. AMAZING. quickly became one of my favorite soft serve spots in all the places I’ve lived (which is a lot). The ice cream wasn’t overly sweet but had a nice obvious flavor without that cloying fakeness ice creams often have. Partnered with their spiced, warm apples they serve on the side to avoid melting it was possibly the perfect fall treat. The apples were nicely cooked and slighhhtly crunchy while still being obviously stewed in the caramel and spices. They had a bold flavor that was again perfectly sweet instead of dripping in sugar. SO good.“

We were so pleased with our wedding cake; the flavors, texture, and uniqueness of what she delivered! The cake received rave reviews from all our guests & it was just stunning! Alison further accommodated our distant guests who joined us via Zoom and helped us send them some goodies and treats via a celebration box! Further, she even recommended our caterer and helped calm some anxious nerves about the dynamics of planning a wedding during a world pandemic! “After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

The BBQ place was super good too ... I love to pair beer and bbq ... I am pretty sure that you find a sauce that you will like out of their options.

Gluten reduced beer is something that I have been more inclined to incorporate on my drinking because my body is progressing it differently nowadays.

The popcorn shrimp was ample and so well seasoned. The hot pretzel came out overcooked and too hard, but they were so accommodating with a replacement, and didn't ask for it, but they refunded us for the inconvenience. Totally unnecessary, but the thoughtfulness and friendliness caught our attention and is a large reason we'll continue to patronize them. Also, I could definitely bring home a large dish of the cucumber salad -- so refreshing and tasty! Hope there's a fall/winter plan to keep it open. The fresh ingredients that clearly went into the dishes is respectable. Sunny-side instead of scrambled eggs with the fried rice is novel and scrumptious. The presentation of the pot stickers as a giant fried pancake you must turn over or crack apart like a savory Crème brûlée to access the dumpling goodness underneath was fun, if a bit greasy. The beer selection is outrageously good. Highly recommend. And get some beer to go! Clothing and glassware merch in supply, but no stickers.“
