“Great spot to kick back, enjoy the mountains views and relax. The food was amazing and so was the staff. After taking a while to discover it, Bar Botanical will definitely be a regular spot we’ll be visiting frequently.”

“A truly hidden gem! We were visiting from DC and was looking for some Asian food. Found this place on Google and decided to try it. Wasn’t expecting much for an Asian food restaurant in a small town but it ended up to be top 5 Thai restaurants I have ever had.

The green curry was very tasty and at the right level of spicy. (most Thai restaurants didn’t cook food spicy enough even though it says two pepper spicy or more)

The clay pot was so great and was not something you’d find in any Thai restaurant.

Pineapple fried rice and pad see wee also were very solid. Also highly recommend the lychee iced tea - not too sweet and very flavorful.

My only complaint is the beef was a bit chewy which is often the case in most Thai restaurants.

The place was also decorated very well with very decent service.”

“SANDWICHES - Delicious sandwiches! Friendly staff, creative menu, fresh takes on old favorites. Kid friendly options too! Definitely recommend the Turkey Crunch, Ruben, Turkey Rachel, Hot Italian or Spicy Roni. The whole family loved it so much we visited 2 days in a row. We will be back.”

“Quick, easy, and your typical subway. Definitely a place to go if you’re hungry in Crozet. I always get the chicken bacon ranch, it’s always been kind to me.”

“Wonderful wine, quiet and beautiful location. My husband and I enjoyed our picnic lunch on their patio with our sweet dog by our side. We even bought a couple bottles to go. There was an issue with the order but they went above and beyond to correct it quickly. We definitely plan to return!”

“Great family restaurant that offers real northern style pizzas. They make their own fresh pasta and pizza sauce (unlike competitors canned sauces). subs are made on freshly baked homemade bread! Just yummy!!!”

“Smoked Kitchen and Tap jumped in to help us out with catering for our wedding after we ran into an issue with our original caterer. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the BBQ tofu and the sauces! We seriously can't thank them enough for saving our wedding dinner!”

“This place is great! I’m picky and I found the food to be fresh, flavorful, and good portion sizes. We got Szechuan tofu, Hunan shrimp, vegetable lo mein, and an egg roll and everything was wonderful. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. The entrees also came with a nice variety of vegetables instead of just broccoli like you get most places. We’ll definitely be back.”

“This location is chronically understaffed. There is one young guy that is always working and honestly I’ve been there some nights and the line is out the door and he’s the only one there. I have to hand it to him, this is not exactly the most glamorous job and he keeps it professional. This is where we go for our ice cream when we don’t go to teeters, cause heaven knows Crozet creamery cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for making our blizzards!!”

“Stopped by for a coffee and was delighted to see homemade syrups and unique coffee offerings. My caramel breve was perfect—balanced amount of espresso with the caramel and steamed just the way I prefer. The barista was great to chat with too, very friendly! Also snagged a piece of flourless chocolate cake and it too was amazing. They had a nice selection of pastries and treats left late in the afternoon to choose from. Would absolutely return here!!”

“Great coffee! Friendly staff, talk about service with smile! My first trip, I had a large coffee with a brownie. The brownies are cut like a scone; crispy, buttery and lots of chocolate, definitely not a box mix. I work construction all over so I visit a lot of coffee shops; this one takes the cake in Albemarle Co! Rock on Crozet! I will be back to try more delicious food, great coffee and see the friendly staff. If it's raining I'm bringing a book to enjoy in a cozy chair!”

“Stumbled upon Whistle Stop Grill and the Stoney Creek Freedom Fest this weekend. We had their Maple bacon burger and it was so good we had to get a second one the next day for lunch. I definitely recommend trying.”
