“This is the best Chinese food in the area. No where else compares. They will customize dishes for you to your liking with spice level which I personally appreciate. Their General Tso Chicken is the best I’ve ever had. Every other place has just heavy, soggy breading but this place is crisp and tangy. I also think the price is very reasonable along with their portions. This is the only place I will go to for Chinese food. It’s a classic and it’s been around for decades.“

We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. “I had the black noodles, galbi and the spicy beef stew, and these dishes were outstanding. The galbi was perfectly marinated—sweet, savory, and grilled to tender perfection with just the right amount of char. Every bite was juicy and full of flavor.

The spicy beef stew (yukgaejang) was equally impressive. Rich, hearty, and packed with shredded beef, vegetables, and just the right level of heat. It had that deep, comforting flavor that warms you from the inside out. The broth was addictive, and the portion was generous.

“We been going here for a while, but get there before the rush or sometimes we have had over cooked steaks. The stuff mushrooms 🍄 is delicious, loaded bake potatoes are fantastic but beware they roll it in salt so if you are avoiding salt ask for it to be low sodium or no salt. Their Mac-N-Cheese with and without bacon are good but after having both, I actually like it without the bacon. Their French onion 🌰 soup is great but you really only need a cup. A bowl is the whole damn meal. LOL!“

“Lil Cow Cafe Bistro, located in Rolling Valley Shopping Center in Burke, offers a cozy, farmhouse-like atmosphere with large windows that flood the cafe with sunlight. It serves fresh, high-quality food, especially sandwiches, with a diverse menu, friendly staff, and charming fall decorations. We loved the large logo in the center. The coffee, brewed with La Colombe beans, was excellent—robust and not watered down.

We were delighted to find perfect sandwiches this morning. You can choose your bread from Whole Wheat, Soft White, Wrap, Sourdough, or Ciabatta. We highly recommend:
1. Southwest Wrap, containing grilled chicken, avocado, spinach, tomatoes, onions, provolone cheese, and Chipotle Aioli. All ingredients were fresh, tasty, and the sauce complemented everything nicely.
2. Gourmet Bacon Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich, made with grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon, and cheese on an Italian Hoagie roll, and served with French fries. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce excellent, and the bread light and not dense, resulting in a satisfying sandwich.“

The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. “I almost didn’t walk into Hunan Taste. When I saw pho on the menu, I hesitated. I know pho. I’ve had it done right, and when a Chinese place throws it on the menu, it usually means they’re trying to be everything to everyone.

But I’m glad I went in.

I ordered what I always judge a place by — roast pork and lo mein. If you can’t get that right, nothing else matters. The roast pork was legit. Flavorful, not dried out, not that bland filler meat some of these pop-up spots use. Mix it with the lo mein? That’s a winning combination every time.

Then came the egg roll. Not a spring roll. A real egg roll. Thick wrapper, crispy, hearty filling.

But what sealed it for me was the mustard. Homemade Chinese mustard — the real deal, the kind that clears your sinuses and lets you know someone back there cares.

If you’re in Springfield and you want solid Chinese food, this is a good spot. I’ll be back.“

“Went to BGR to grab a burger in person with my family. We had ordered from there before and thought it was really tasty so we had to get eat in the physical location. The staff was very friendly and explained the menu, they had multiple sauce options and burger toppings. The burger and fries came out delicious and made to order, and was decently priced at 13$ for bacon cheeseburger by itself. The interior was very casual and they had plenty of high chairs for small children. Would definitely go back, was so hungry I completely forgot to take a photo of the food. Took one star out for cleanliness but overall solid burger spot“

“We have been wanting to come this restaurant since we moved here, as I have heard great things about it. Finally, we got to go today and I was amazed with how great the staff was. We brought our 10 month old and he LOVES to eat. He ate the entire bowl of mac and cheese and a piece of cake. The food was delicious, but the best part about our experience was how great the waitresses were! They were so nice, so attentive, and they showed so much love to our little one. They even took him to see the Santa statue at the front of the restaurant and gave him a piece of cake. We will be moving back home in may (military family) but we will be recommending this restaurant to EVERYONE and we will try and come by as much as possible before we move.
