“Adam Caldwell was a wonderful waiter. I had my entire family with my tonight and at one point in the night my child was crying. Adam Caldwell brought out a pack and play and sang my baby to sleep with a lullaby. After this, he offered me a free oil change and tire rotation as he held my hand out to my car. I would highly recommend eating at this establishment, as long as you ask for Adam Caldwell.“

“Joshua Wilton House was absolutely incredible. My husband and I went for our 5 year wedding anniversary and it was a night to remember. The staff was lovely and our waitress Electra was incredible and made us feel special. From the drinks to the food you can’t go wrong. I recommend ordering the food exactly the way it comes because there is not one bad thing on the menu the chef absolutely knows what they’re doing. If you are ever in Harrisonburg, VA this is a must destination!“

“I had an incredible experience at this place. The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. We ordered two vegan options, the Vegan Burrito and the Vegan Burger, for my husband and me, and they were both delicious. I highly recommend this place if you ever find yourself in Harrisonburg. I also want to mention that Kaylee's service was amazing. She is definitely the best server in Virginia.

“This place was AWESOME! Best sweet tea I’ve ever had! Their fries are AMAZING! Our family got chicken tenders, brisket, a steak, wings and the fish and every single thing was just incredible. No complaints at ALL! Our waitress Allison was attentive and sweet and they were packed! Definitely a 10/10! Definitely recommend!“

“Nice lunch experience here. The food was delicious, service was good. I went there with both of my parents with walkers, they have easy accessibility. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms.
Parking: Nice parking lot.

“Unmatched service from the very beginning- warm greeting as we party of 5 entered, very clean restaurant - excellence from waitress Jess, every single food item Delicious and hot! Did I say our waitress Jess was awesome! And on our way out the door, at least 3 employees thanked us and said to please visit again. You bet we will! Now that's what you call, Unmatched service! “This Steak 'n Shake is located on James Madison University Campus in the D-Hall building. The menu is limited, but it has the essential Steak 'n Shake items - burgers, chicken strips, and milkshakes! Prices are about the same as a traditional location. For non-campus members, visiting may be hard due to parking restrictions.“

“Dec. 2023, we had our worse restaurant experience ever. My past review still shows here. After my review, we got a call from Applebee's asking us to give them another chance. I said no way because that visit had been us giving them a second chance. Eventually they offered us a large enough gift card that I took it. We just got around to using it and everything was good. Seated right away, service was excellent, low volume music was enjoyable, food came out quickly, and the food tasted good. We will be going back.“
“I don’t know what they do to their burgers to be so good but it was delicious and juicy. I asked for well done which sometimes can be a little dried out. Not here. I highly recommend any of their burgers and the fries are so good you will want a basket of them. Trust me on this one. The seasoning they use is incredibly tasty. Not too spicy. Not too salty. Just right.Even their pickles taste better here. Seriously.This was our first time here. Greg was so nice and patient with our reading everything on the menu. We also played pool. The tables are clean. The entire business to include bathrooms is clean. The music was classic rock. The other customers were also nice and not scary. One time we went into a pool hall/bar at a different location and we felt like all eyes were on us as the newbies. They have televisions and plenty of beverages.“

“The Thomas House is warm and friendly. The food is outstanding. The staff is outstanding. I love this nice home comfort food restaurant like my mom and grandma used to make. I recommend having anything that Thomas House has on the menu or any of the daily lunch specials it’s all fantastic food well presented. the way staff they’re all fantastic. Should try the Thomas house once you eat there one time you’ll continue to go back. I just happen to find it and I’m not a regular customer. I have my own seat at the counter. LOL“
