I love the old fashioned, but they have a lot of tasty drinks and you can always just sip it straight! Sit inside in winter, outside by the water in summer! It’s the best place to take a break!“

“Maybe the most unique brewery experience you have can have in VA. From the outside, the facility may not look like much, but they’re focused on good beer. They brew using both spontaneous fermentation and native yeast methods to produce unique beers, both tart lambics and more classic style lagers. These are complimented by gorgeous views of the Shenandoah region and exceptional food from Sumac prepared and served on site. Both Sumac and Pen Druid are constantly updating their offerings, so no two experiences will be the same. Can’t wait to go back.“

“I recently hosted my retirement party for about 100 guests. It could not have been more perfect! From the beginning, Abigail was incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious, the cocktails top-notch and the service was outstanding all night long. “Just a short 7 mile drive from our home, we stopped by on a whim tonight and are super glad we did. The Stacked IPA was wonderful, the views amazing with lots of outdoor seating, and the indoor atmosphere inviting and unique. We can’t wait to bring a group next time.
